Carol Myers, "a mentally ill adult" aged 41, was found dead in her flat in London, on the 29th June 2005.

In the last week of her life Carol had twice spoken to her brother Richard and had said she wanted to return to Stockport to be near her family.
Carol's family were only told of her death two weeks after she had died.
Dr Fisher had arranged Carol's cremation before Carol's family were informed of the death.
Carol's family seek the exhumation of Carol's body to confirm her identity.

Carole, a former nurse, left behind a statement saying that she had suffered Satantic child abuse at the hands of her parents.
The life assessment, 'written by Carole' stated:
"My parents were abusive in every way imaginable - sexually, physically and emotionally.
"At three years of age, my mother smothered my sister. She sat me on top of her body and set the house on fire."
She said that her parents were the high priest and priestess of a satanic cult.
She said that during her teens she had had six children - some fathered by Joseph - that she had been forced to kill.
According to Carol's family, the 'smothered' sister died of heart problems two years before Carole was born.
And the house fire happened before Carole's birth.

At 21 Carol became a nurse at Stockport College.
In 1986 Carol's family discovered that Carole had moved to Macclesfield.
By 1992 Carol moved to London and changed her name from Carol Felstead to Carole Myers.
Carol's family claim they only learnt of Carol's mental illness after Carol's death.
Carol's family believe that Carol's problems were caused by her 'satanist-obsessed therapists'.
In August 1985, Carol received therapy for insomnia and nightmares linked to "family abuse".
A 1986 letter mentions "psycho-sexual counselling" by Dr Fleur Fisher.
Were Carol's memories "implanted" by a therapist?
Professor Elizabeth Loftus, of the University of California, believes a therapist can create a memory of an event simply by suggesting it.
Loftus got 24 adults to write descriptions of four childhood events supplied earlier on by a family member.
Unbeknown to them, one of those events never actually happened.
25% of the group remembered the false event.

"All her work rests on conflating ordinary memories with traumatic memory recall also know as 'flashbacks' and more technically as 'abreactions'.

"Abreactions are faithful internal repetitions of the original event because the original has not been processed by the mind to become an ordinary memory.
"So as far as the mind and body of the victim are concerned, the event is still happening when an abreation occurs.
"The physiological symptoms that accompany these abreactions/flashbacks cannot be faked."
Memories of satanic abuse are not necessarily false.
