US TROOPS SEXUALLY ASSAULTED WOMEN BEFORE KILLING THEM

Staff sergeant Robert Bales — the US soldier 'wrongly' accused of slaughtering 16 Afghan civilians.

Probe team: Women sexually assaulted before killing in Panjwai

"US soldiers were alleged to have sexually assaulted two female victims before they were killed in the Panjwai massacre in southern Kandahar last Sunday, a high-level Afghan probe team revealed.

"The ... Parliament delegation investigating the Kandahar shootings by US troops said besides killing 16 civilians, the soldiers sexually assaulted them.

"On the ill-fated Sunday, US troops shot 16 civilians, including nine children and three women, and injured five others when they opened fire on houses in Zangabad village, in Panjwai district.

"Some of the victims’ bodies were later set on fire.

"Shakiba Hashami, a delegation member, confirmed the vicious attack, adding about 15 to 20 American soldiers were involved in the killings and even helicopters were seen hovering the areas.

Up to 20 US troops carried out the Kandahar-Panjwai massacre: according to a parliamentary probe

March 16, 2012

KANDAHAR CITY (PAN): A parliamentary probe team on Thursday said up to 20 American troops were involved in Sunday’s killing of 16 civilians in southern Kandahar province...

The team spent two days in the province, interviewing the bereaved families, tribal elders, survivors and collecting evidences at the site in Panjwai district.

Hamizai Lali told Pajhwok Afghan News their investigation showed there were 15 to 20 American soldiers, who executed the brutal killings.

"We closely examined the site of the incident, talked to the families who lost their beloved ones, the injured people and tribal elders," he said.

He added the attack lasted one hour involving two groups of American soldiers in the middle of the night on Sunday.

"The villages are one and a half kilometre from the American military base. We are convinced that one soldier cannot kill so many people in two villages within one hour at the same time, and the 16 civilians, most of them children and women, have been killed by the two groups."

The Panjwai shooting spree (or Kandahar massacre) occurred in the early morning of Sunday, 11 March 2012, when sixteen civilians (comprising nine children, four men, and three women) were killed and five wounded in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan.

GROUP OF US SOLDIERS MURDER 9 KIDS AND 3 WOMEN IN AFGHANISTAN

11 March 2012 murders in Kandahar. Back in 2010, four US soldiers killed unarmed civilians in this part of Kandahar. They were found gulty of forming a "kill team" that murdered Afghan civilians for sport.

On 11 March 2012, a GROUP of American soldiers murdered 16 civilians, including nine children, in southern Kandahar province in Afghanistan.

Witnesses said the American soldiers were laughing when they carried out the shootings.

Witnesses told Reuters they saw a GROUP of U.S. soldiers arrive at their village in Kandahar's Panjwayi district at around 2 am, enter homes and open fire.

The US embassy in Kabul said that only one American soldier had been detained over the shooting.

The Mai Lai massacre carried out by US troops as part of Operation Phoenix.

Afghan President Hamid Karzai described the Kandahar attack as "intentional murders".

"They (Americans) poured chemicals over their dead bodies and burned them," Haji Samad told Reuters.

Neighbors said they awoke to gunfire from American soldiers, whom they described as laughing.

A 15-year-old survivor named Rafiullah said that "soldiers" broke into his house, woke up his family and began shooting them. (Afghans express skepticism over shooting account‎)

"The village is outside the gate of an American base...

"Thus, this is what we can safely assume:

"More than one American was involved as no single soldier would have been allowed outside the compound, heavily armed with a vehicle.

"Gate security received authorization for the “mission” from the watch officer at the “Combat Operations Center” at the base...

The US and NATO have a long history of deliberately killing civilians.

"No “reaction force” was sent to investigate though this was right outside the gates. Radio contact would have been attempted, and there would be recorded records of this and all other activities, as required by normal procedures.

"Again, we repeat, authorization at the gate, obviously more than one person, a vehicle, radio communications, gunfire overheard, all things that make the story we have received not just unlikely but childish, superficial and an obvious lie to anyone with experience in the military, something 30 million Americans have."

If you add up the totals, the USA is probably responsible for the biggest holocaust of all time.

IRAQ

The CIA put Saddam into power and manipulated Iraq and Iran into a war. 1.5 million Iranians may have died in the Iran-Iraq war. Then came the Desert Storm campaign, depleted uranium, UN sanctions and the latest Iraq war. Over 1 million Iraqis have died as a result of American interference in Iraq.

9 11

On 9 11, 1973, Salvador Allende, the President of Chile, was killed in an American-sponsored coup, led by General Augusto Pinochet. Pinochet's rise to power, organised by the CIA and Henry Kissinger, began nearly twenty years of military dictatorship that led to thousands of deaths. 30,000 people were massacred in the weeks following this September 11th, as Pinochet tried to wipe out those who opposed fascism.

The Congo was given a military dictatorship thanks to the CIA assassination of Patrice Lumumba. The Congo conflict has led to at least 3 million deaths.

In Cambodia, America (and Britain) backed Khmer Rouge leader Pol Pot who killed nearly 2 million Cambodians.

Many Germans died after the end of World War II due to the harsh policies of the USA. A survey conducted by the German government stated that some 1.4 million German prisoners died in captivity; many of them died in American captivity.

Since the Second World War, the US government has bombed 21 countries:

China in 1945-46 and again in 1950-53,

Korea in 1950-53

In Korea, nearly 3 million civilians were murdered by the USA and its allies. Civilians were murdered at No Gun Ri and many other places. The USA supported the fascist puppet regime in South Korea. The South Korean government carried out genocide against both North and South Korean people.

Guatemala in 1954, 1960, and 1967-69

Indonesia in 1958

Up to one million innocent civilians died in Indonesia after the CIA put Suharto into power in Indonesia. At least one third of the population of East Timor died after the USA gave Suharto permission to invade that country.

Vietnam in 1961-73

North Vietnam did not want a war. The US military-industrial complex made sure that there was a war. Through the Phoenix Program, hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese were tortured to death in “interrogation centers”.

These torture centers were built by the United States. Women were always raped as part of the torture before being murdered. This terrorism, rape and mass-murder was the policy of the USA. The My Lai massacre itself was an operation of the Phoenix Program.

Up to 5 million Vietnamese were killed in the Vietnam war.

Congo in 1964,

Laos in 1964-73,The United States Air Force dropped the equivalent of a planeload of bombs every eight minutes for nine years on the people of Laos — from 1965 to 1973. Over 2,000,000 tons. This was some of the heaviest aerial bombardment in world history.

CIA SENT 1,500 AL QAEDA FROM AFGHANISTAN TO LIBYA

On 31 August 2011 The Nation (Pakistan newspaper) reported:

The CIA recruited 1,500 members of Al-Qaeda, from Mazar-e-Sharif in Afghanistan, to fight in Libya.

Sources told TheNation: "Most of the men have been recruited from Afghanistan.

"They are Uzbeks, Persians and Hazaras...

"Men attired in the Uzbek-style of shalwar and Hazara-Uzbek Kurta were found fighting in Libyan cities."

Sources in Quetta said: "Some Uzbeks and Hazaras from Afghanistan were arrested in Balochistan for illegally traveling into Pakistan en route to Libya through Iran."

Aljazeera has reported on the smuggling of Afghans through Pakistan.

More than 100 Afghans were discovered 20km from the border town of Quetta last week inside a container.

Most of the men were recruits for Libya's rebel force.

FAILURE OF THE MILITARY

The Western military have been involved in Libya.

Frank Ledwidge is a former military intelligence officer.

He has served in Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan.

He should know what's happening in Libya.

He has written a book called "Losing Small Wars: British Military Failure in Iraq and Afghanistan" (Yale University Press)

According to Rodric Braithwaite, former chairman of the UK Joint Intelligence Committee , at FT.com:

"Losing Small Wars, is a savage indictment of the military leadership that got British soldiers into one impossible situation after another...

"His conclusion is stark: 'The reputation of the British army has been seriously damaged'...

According to Ledwidge, "Afghans do not take kindly to foreign soldiers breaking into their homes at night, insulting their women, turning everything upside down and taking their men away to unknown destinations.

"When their families are killed by foreign bombs, they are not mollified...

"Soldiers may hand out sweets to village children and assure their parents that they come with the best intentions. But hearts and minds are not won...

"The French failed for similar reasons in Algeria.

"So did the Americans in Vietnam and the Russians in Afghanistan.

"So did earlier British counterinsurgency campaigns in Yemen and Palestine.

"Our politicians... told the public that British soldiers were fighting to smash the Taliban in Helmand (in Afghanistan) because most terrorist plots against Britain were hatched on the borders of Pakistan..."

Actually, the terrorist plots were hatched by the Western spooks.

The leaders of the USA and NATO would appear to be dangerous psycopaths.

Video on Psycopaths. Found at http://twelfthbough.blogspot.com/

On 24 August 2011, Xymphora wrote about Gadaffi and the lesson of Serbia:

"When NATO wants to remove a political regime from a relatively organized country, it carpet bombs heavily-populated civilian areas until the leader, out of concern for his own people, leaves.

"The paradox is that the leader is portrayed in NATO propaganda as a ruthless monster who doesn't care about the civilian population, and yet the NATO plan depends on the assumption that the carpet bombing and mass slaughter of civilians will force the leader out as he actually does care...

"What could Gadaffi do to save his people and yet continue the resistance against Sarko, Cameron and Obama?

"Pretend to give up, falling away to allow the NATO mercenaries to 'win' - thus providing an end to the need to carpet bomb civilians - and then continue the fight as long-term guerrilla warfare, eventually forcing the NATO countries into even more ruinous expense to keep the rebels in power.

"It is a brilliant strategic plan, but does Gadaffi have the money and troops to carry it out?"

CIA TO TOPPLE KAYANI?

Panetta (from Calabria)

On 10 June 2011, CIA boss Leon Panetta met Pakistan army boss General Kayani and Pakistan spy boss General Shuja Pasha.

On 11 June, Panetta left Pakistan without achieving a deal on improving the relationship between the US and Pakistan spy agencies.

CIA chief Panetta leaves without deal

On 17 June 2011, a US official reported that Pakistan "is blocking food and water" from reaching a base used by America for its drone attacks.

According to the New York Times, General Kayani is facing opposition from top people within the Pakistan army and may be toppled from power.

Pakistan's Chief of Army Fights to Keep His Job

The New York Times story leads one to believe that it is the CIA which is instigating mutiny in the Pakistani army, according to the blog at Indian Punchline

"There is a US attempt to exploit the growing indiscipline within the Pak army and, if possible, to trigger a mutiny, which will bog down the army leadership in a serious 'domestic' crisis that leaves no time for them for the foreseeable future to play any forceful role in Afghanistan.

"In turn, it leaves the Americans a free hand to pursue their own agenda.

"Time is of the essence of the matter and the US desperately wants direct access to the Taliban leadership so as to strike a deal with them without the ISI or Hamid Karzai coming in between.

"The prime US objective is that Taliban should somehow come to a compromise with them on the single most crucial issue of permanent US military bases in Afghanistan."

MURDERED BY THE USA

On 4 May 1970, at Ohio's Kent State University, US forces murdered 4 students. The students had been protesting about US forces carrying out the mass murder of civilians in Cambodia.

Reportedly, General Petraeus has said that the Afghans may have been burning their own children.

The USA, like Israel, commits mass murder and then, like Israel, blames the victims.

Gen. David H. Petraeus: Afghans burned their own children.

Around 16 February 2011, in Konar province in Afghanistan, the US military killed 22 women and more than 30 children.

According to the Washington Post, on 21 February 2011,

"To the shock of President Hamid Karzai's aides, Gen. David H. Petraeus suggested ... that Afghans caught up in a coalition attack in northeastern Afghanistan might have burned their own children to exaggerate claims of civilian casualties, according to two participants at the meeting."

Reportedly, "Petraeus, the top U.S. commander in Afghanistan, dismissed allegations by Karzai's office and the provincial governor that civilians were killed and said residents had invented stories, or even injured their children, to pin the blame on U.S. forces..."

"On Saturday, Wahidi, the provincial governor, sent a three-person fact-finding team up the valley to the village of Helgal.

"They returned with ... five boys and girls 16 or younger.

"... they had burns and shrapnel wounds..."

THE CIA'S MAD MOSLEMS, MILITARY BASES AND HEROIN

Reportedly, the CIA and NATO want to use the Taliban to help them obtain military bases throughout Central Asia. Reportedly, the CIA has long had friendly relations with certain Taliban figures, and, with the heroin trade.

We are not supposed to know too much about all these mad Muslims who work for the CIA and its friends.

Sultan Amir Tarar (Pakistan's Godfather of the Taliban dies 23 January 2011) was a friend of the CIA.

He was trained by American special forces.

He ran CIA-funded training camps in Pakistan.

These camps sent tens of thousands of mujahideen guerrillas into battle against the Soviets.

Among his students was an Afghan called Mullah Omar.

Mullah Omar became head of the Afghan Taliban and came to power in Afghanistan in 1996.

Tarar was Pakistan intelligence's link with the Afghan Taliban.

Both the CIA and its subsidiary ISI (Pakistan intelligence) were friends of the Taliban.

In 2001, the USA, fell out with the Afghan Taliban and decided to attack Afghanistan.

Tarar returned to Pakistan but allegedly continued to act as a link between the ISI and the Taliban.

Reportedly the CIA hopes to use the Afghan Taliban to balkanise certain neighbouring countries. And hopes to use the Pakistan Taliban to balkanise Pakistan.

In 2010, Tarar was kidnapped and in 2011 he died in captivity.

When Tarar was kidnapped, he had been hoping to gain an interview with the Pakistan Taliban leader, Hakimullah Mehsud.

Allegedly, the CIA is using the Pakistan Taliban to break up Pakistan.

On 21 October 2009, Akhtar Jamal, at ahmedquraishi.com/p, revealed the details of how Pakistan Taliban terrorists are being equipped with U.S., Indian and German, weapons.

Gordon Duff, of ‘Veterans Today’, revealed in a recent interview: "The Pakistani Taliban is in close cooperation with India and Israel who supply, finance, arm and train them to attack Pakistan."

Tarar was with Khalid Khawaja, a former ISI spy.

The kidnappers were led by a 'militant' called Usman Punjabi.

Punjabi's group claimed Khawaja was an ISI and CIA agent who had betrayed 'extremists' during the Red Mosque siege in Islamabad in 2007.

Also with Tarar was Asad Qureshi, a British film-maker making an independent film for the UK's Channel Four.

Qureshi was released by his kidnappers.

Punjabi was killed in a shootout with a local tribal commander, and Tarar was handed over to Hakimullah Mehsud's Pakistan Taliban.

Tarar may have known too much about CIA links to the Pakistan Taliban.

Afghan mujahidin in the White House, 1985.

And what about Mullah Omar: who knows where he is now?

On 7 January 2011, Mullah Omar reportedly had a heart attack and was treated for several days in a Karachi hospital with the help of Pakistan's spy service the ISI.

According to The Washington Post, a private intelligence firm, the Eclipse Group, was the source of this information.

And the Eclipse Group got its information from a doctor in a Karachi hospital.

The doctor said he saw Mullah Omar.

The New York Times reports that the man who runs the Eclipse Group is former CIA officer Duane R. Clarridge.

He may or may not be telling the truth.

After many years "the world has witnessed that neither Mullah Omar nor Bin Laden have been captured.

"It would be a joke to say that a superpower like the US cannot capture these two men." - Press TV's exclusive interview with Alaeddin Boroujerdi

Girls in Afghanistan in the 1960s, before the CIA started building up the extremist Moslems. Photo from O'Bannon article

In 1978, the government in Afghanistan was peaceful, moderate, progressive and non-communist.

The US government wanted control of Afghanistan.

The CIA decided to finance some extremist Moslems and put them into power in Afghanistan.

According to Andrew Gavin Marshall, at Global Research, 5 September 2010, (The “Arc of Crisis”):

Brzezinski said in a 1998 interview:

"It was July 3, 1979 that President Carter signed the first directive for secret aid to the opponents of the .... regime in Kabul.

"And that very day, I wrote a note to the president in which I explained to him that in my opinion this aid was going to induce a Soviet military intervention."

Brzezinski said he "Knowingly increased the probability that (the Soviets) would invade."

The US government plans to balkanise and control the oil rich parts of the world.

Peter Dale Scott pointed out, in The Road to 9/11, that "billions of CIA and Saudi dollars would ultimately be spent in programs that would help enhance ... Wahhabistic jihadism...."

In 1979, Hafizullah Amin, who was reportedly a CIA asset, carried out a coup in Afghanistan.

Amin "halted the reforms, and murdered, jailed, or exiled thousands of (moderates) as he moved toward establishing a fundamentalist Islamic state." (Michael Parenti, Afghanistan, Another Untold Story. Global Research: December 4, 2008: globalresearch.9)

The Soviets intervened in order to replace Amin. The Soviet invasion took place in 1980.

Reportedly, the US plans to break up Saudi Arabia, and several other oil-rich countries.

The USA took the side of the Moslem extremist Afghan Mujahideen.

In 1981, CIA Director Casey worked with Saudi Prince Turki bin Faisal and the Pakistani ISI "to create a foreign legion of jihadi Muslims."

This idea had "originated in the elite Safari Club," a coalition of intelligence agencies, which included the CIA and French intelligence.

More than 100,000 Islamic militants were trained in Pakistan, in camps overseen by the CIA and MI6.

Britain's SAS training future al-Qaida and Taliban fighters in bomb-making and other black arts.

Future al-Qaeda leaders were trained at a CIA camp in Virginia.

This was called Operation Cyclone.

It continued after the Soviets left Afghanistan in 1989.

Drugs money was used to finance the Afghan Mujahideen.

When Britain was in India, Britain's East India Company turned opium into India's main export.

According to Alfred W. McCoy, in The Politics of Heroin: CIA Complicity in the Global Drug Trade, "CIA activities in Burma helped transform the Shan states ... into the largest opium-growing region in the world."

In the 1960s and 1970s, the CIA promoted the drugs trade in Laos and Vietnam.

In the 1980s that the CIA turned Central Asia into a major supplier of heroin for the world market.

The CIA helped Afghanistan's heroin to reach Europe and America. (Alfred W. McCoy, The Politics of Heroin: CIA Complicity in the Global Drug Trade.)

CIA money went to Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, Afghanistan’s leading mujahideen drug lord.

Between 1979 and1980, drug-related deaths in New York City rose 77%.

The bin Ladens are old friends of the Bush family. Above, Wafah bin Laden.

In the 1980s, the CIA financed Mujahideen propaganda in textbooks for Afghan schools.

(Carol Off, Back to school in Afghanistan. CBC: May 6, 2002: http://www.cbc.ca/news/background/afghanistan/schools.html)

In the early 1990s the Taliban emerged, and it was supported by the CIA.

"Between 1994 and 1996, the USA supported the Taliban politically through its allies Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, essentially because Washington viewed the Taliban as anti-Iranian, anti-Shia, and pro-Western." (Robert Dreyfuss, Devil’s Game: How the United States Helped Unleash Fundamentalist Islam.)

Selig Harrison, a scholar with links to the CIA, said that the CIA worked with Pakistan to create the Taliban.

(Reportedly the CIA hopes to use the Afghan Taliban to balkanise certain neighbouring countries.)

Reportedly:

1. The USA uses profits from heroin to pay for its presence in Afghanistan.

2. The USA set up the Taliban and it still hopes to make use of the Taliban.

3. The USA would like to use the Taliban to destabilise Central Asia.

4. The USA's eventual aim is to have military bases throughout Central Asia.

On 20 August 2009, www.russiatoday.com had an article entitled “Afghan drug trafficking brings US $50 billion a year”

In this article, the main points made by General Mahmut Gareev, a commander during Russia's time in Afghanistan, are as follows:

1. When General Gareev was in Afghanistan, in 1989 and 1990, the production of heroin almost ceased, apart from in certain areas.

3. Since then, it has increased by 44 per cent.

4. 80% of the world’s drugs are produced in Afghanistan.

5. The Americans themselves admit that drugs are often transported out of Afghanistan on American planes.

6. "Drug trafficking in Afghanistan brings them about 50 billion dollars a year – which fully covers the expenses tied to keeping their troops there."

7. The US military "don’t have any planned military action to eliminate the Mujahideen.

"Rather, they want to make the situation more unstable and help the Taliban to be more active.

"They even started negotiations with them, trying to direct them to the Central-Asian republics, to destabilize the whole region and set up their bases there."

7. Turkmenistan now allows overflights by the USA. It also allows US troops on its territory. It has offered the US the use of the air base at Mary.

It is not yet clear who is winning. Alliances can shift.

On 13 July 2009, we learn a Nabucco Europe gas pipeline deal has been agreed BUT that the Turk PM wants Iranian and Russian gas in Nabucco

Turkey and four European Union countries, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary and Austria, have signed an agreement to construct the Nabucco natural gas pipeline to bring gas from the Caspian and the Middle East across Turkey and into Europe.

It has still to be agreed where the gas will come from.

Azerbaijan will be the main source of Nabucco's gas when the pipeline is opened, due by 2014.

However, two weeks ago, Azerbaijan agreed to sell some of its gas to Russia.

Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Egypt are possible suppliers to Nabucco in the longer term.

Russia is planning two of its own new gas pipelines to Europe.

Turkey's Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan said on 13 July 2009 that Turkey wanted Iranian gas to be transported to Europe via the planned Nabucco pipeline "when conditions allow."

The USA opposes this.

The Nabucco Consortium has mentioned Russia as a source for gas.

Erdogan also said he believed Russian gas could be transported to Europe via Nabucco.

The USA opposes this.
