KANDAHAR CITY (PAN): A parliamentary probe team on Thursday said up to 20 American troops were involved in Sunday’s killing of 16 civilians in southern Kandahar province...

The team spent two days in the province, interviewing the bereaved families, tribal elders, survivors and collecting evidences at the site in Panjwai district.

Hamizai Lali told Pajhwok Afghan News their investigation showed there were 15 to 20 American soldiers, who executed the brutal killings.

"We closely examined the site of the incident, talked to the families who lost their beloved ones, the injured people and tribal elders," he said.

He added the attack lasted one hour involving two groups of American soldiers in the middle of the night on Sunday.

"The villages are one and a half kilometre from the American military base. We are convinced that one soldier cannot kill so many people in two villages within one hour at the same time, and the 16 civilians, most of them children and women, have been killed by the two groups."

The Panjwai shooting spree (or Kandahar massacre) occurred in the early morning of Sunday, 11 March 2012, when sixteen civilians (comprising nine children, four men, and three women) were killed and five wounded in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan.

The CIA’s liaison with the mob was James J. Angleton, an agent in charge of counter-intelligence.

He contacted a friend of his who was with Israeli counter-intelligence.

They were asked to eliminate the shooters after their job was done.

George Mohrenschildt, who worked for the CIA, met Oswald by accident through his connection with the Russian community in Dallas.

He became Oswald’s mentor and, according to a later classified CIA report, his lover.

Mary Pinchot Meyer, a long time mistress of JFK, was shot to death Oct. 12, 1964.

She was found in a wooded area near her Georgetown studio.

She’d been shot once in the head and once in the upper body, a professional technique.

She was also the former wife of Cord Meyer Jr., a senior CIA official.

B. Would the Joint Chiefs of Staff agree to kill the President?

Operation Northwoods was a Pentagon plan to commit acts of terrorism in the USA to create public support for a war against Cuba.

This operation included plans for hijackings and bombings followed by the use of phony evidence that would blame the terrorist acts on Cuba.

Operation Northwoods was drafted by the Joint Chiefs of Staff and signed by then-Chairman Lyman Lemnitzer, and sent to the Secretary of Defense.

It may have been vetoed by Kennedy.

Kennedy could be seen as both bad and mad.

Seymour Hersh sees Kennedy "as a sex maniac, marital cheat, bigamist, speed freak, liar and corrupt politician who employed in his covert service Mafia chiefs, panderers, Communist spies and political fixers and engaged in stealing national elections, shaking down corporations for contributions, plotting assassinations..." Missiles on Cuba

In the Cuban Missile crisis, Kennedy seemed almost as fascist as his generals.

In 1961, CIA-trained Cuban exiles invaded Cuba, landing at the Bay of Pigs. This invasion failed.

Cuba feared that it might again be invaded by the USA and agreed to the placing of Russian missiles on its soil.

The USA already had missiles in Turkey. These were aimed at the USSR.

The Cuban Missile Crisis took place in 1962.

On 14 October, United States reconnaissance photographs taken by an American U-2 spy plane showed missile bases being built in Cuba.

According to Robert McNamara, US Secretary of Defence at that time, the US Joint Chiefs of Staff wanted to drop a couple of nuclear bombs on Cuba.

According to McNamara, in his memoirs, President Kennedy very nearly agreed to this.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, we learnt that the USSR had managed to place about 170 nuclear missiles on Cuba.

If Cuba had been bombed by the USA, the Russians would have been able to retaliate and wipe out many US cities.

According to Seymour Hersh, (The Dark Side of Camelot, Little, Brown & Co., 1997, p. 341.):

"At the height of the crisis, John F. Kennedy mobilized a vast army of men and material that stood poised to attack Cuba and perhaps trigger a nuclear holocaust.

"The invasion plan called for the largest drop of paratroopers since the battle for Normandy in 1944; the Pentagon estimated that 18,500 Americans would be killed or wounded in the first 10 days of battle.

The Strategic Air Command's fleet of 1,436 B-52 and B-47 bombers and 172 intercontinental ballistic missiles was moved to DEFCON 2, the highest military alert short of all-out war."

The crisis ended on 28 October 1962, when John F. Kennedy reached an agreement with the Soviets to dismantle the missiles in Cuba in exchange for a no invasion agreement and a secret removal of the Jupiter and Thor missiles in Turkey.

Lieutenant Francis Frudge of the Louisiana State Police took her to a hospital. On the journey Cheramie said that she had been thrown out of a car by two gangsters who worked for Jack Ruby.

She claimed that the men were plotting to kill President Kennedy in Dallas within a few days. She told the same story to doctors and nurses who treated her.

After the Kennedy assassination, Rose Cheramie told the police that Lee Harvey Oswald had visited Ruby's night club. Cheramie was killed by a hit and run driver on 4th September, 1965.

Mary Pinchot Meyer

On 12th October, 1964, Mary Pinchot Meyer was shot dead. She had had an affair with John F. Kennedy. Her former husband, Cord Meyer, was a senior figure in the CIA's covert operations.

Leo Damore claimed in the New York Post that: "She (Meyer) had access to the highest levels. She was involved in illegal drug activity. What do you think it would do to the beatification of Kennedy if this woman said, 'It wasn't Camelot, it was Caligula's court'?"


Operation 40

Operation 40 was created by the CIA on the eve of the failed Bay of Pigs invasion.

One member, Frank Sturgis, described it as an 'assassination group.'

The group was presided over by Richard Nixon.

Its first meeting in January 1960 was attended by David Atlee Phillips and E. Howard Hunt.

Porter Goss joined the project.

In November 1961, after the failure of the Bay of Pigs operation, President Kennedy sacked the CIA's boss Allen W. Dulles.

After the Kennedy assassination, CIA agent Gary Underhill told his friend Charlene Fitsimmons:

Gary Underhill was found dead on 8th May 1964. He had been shot in the head.

Underhill believed the CIA's 'Executive Action' was involved in the death of Kennedy.

Executive Action toppled leaders such as the Congo's Lumumba, South Vietnam's Diem and Iraq's Kassem.

In his book 'The Secret Team' (1973) Leroy Fletcher Prouty claimed that elements of the CIA, working in the interests certain top business people, may have used the Executive Action unit to kill Kennedy.

Prouty named CIA operative Edward Lansdale as one of the key people involved. Lansdale was Assistant Secretary of Defence for Special Operations from1961-63.

Phillips

In the book 'The Last Investigation', Gaeton Fonzi, a staff investigator for the House Select Committee on Assassinations argues that the assassination was organized by David Atlee Phillips, head of the CIA's Western Hemisphere Division.

Phillips told the investigator, Kevin Walsh, that Kennedy had been "done in by a conspiracy, likely including rogue American intelligence people."

Oswald and his alleged double

In the book, 'JFK: The Second Plot' (1992), Matthew Smith quotes James Wilcott, a former CIA man, who claimed that Lee Harvey Oswald had been "recruited from the military for the express purpose of becoming a double agent assignment to the USSR."

When he returned to America, Oswald's job was to pretend to be a left-wing activist. Smith argues Oswald was "taken over and run by renegade CIA agents who were dedicated to assassinating President Kennedy."

Smith claims Oswald was being set up as a patsy. Tippit was supposed to take Oswald to Cuba in order to implicate Fidel Castro in the assassination.

In September 1960, the CIA had held talks with the Mafia's Johnny Roselli and Sam Giancana, and later Carlos Marcello, Santos Trafficante and Meyer Lansky, about removing Cuba's Castro. After the 1963 assassination of Kennedy, it was rumoured that Roselli, Trafficante, Marcello and Giancana were involved, along with CIA agents such as David Atlee Phillips.

In August 1978, Victor Marchetti published an article about the assassination in Spotlight. Marchetti claimed that the House Special Committee on Assassinations had obtained a 1966 CIA memo that revealed CIA agents E. Howard Hunt, Frank Sturgis and Gerry Patrick Hemming had been involved in the plot to kill Kennedy. Hunt took legal action.

In the 1985 trial, eyewitness Marita Lorenz testified that she saw Hunt pay off a CIA-backed assassination team in Dallas the night before Kennedy's murder. (Hunt v. Liberty Lobby; U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida; 1985)

A jury decided, in January 1995, that Marchetti had not been guilty of libel when he suggested that Kennedy had been assassinated by people working for the CIA.

Jim Garrison, the district attorney of New Orleans, believed that a group of right-wing activists, including Guy Bannister, David Ferrie, Carlos Bringuier and Clay Shaw were involved in a conspiracy with the CIA to kill Kennedy.

Guy Bannister died in 1964 and David Ferrie in 1967.

In 1967, Shaw was charged with conspiring to assassinate Kennedy, with the help of Oswald, Ferrie, and others.

It was suggested that the crime could be blamed on Fidel Castro.

In Anthony Summers' 'The Kennedy Conspiracy' it is argued that Kennedy was killed by members of the CIA plus anti-Castro activists, funded by Mafia mobsters.

In his book, 'Deep Politics and the Death of JFK', Peter Dale Scott claims J Edgar Hoover was part of a cover-up operation.

Mordechai Vanunu reportedly said in an interview that Israel was linked to the assassination of President Kennedy.

The military likes kids who have been abused.

Was George W Bush deprived of sufficient loving hugs and kisses as a child?

Would Hitler have been a more peaceful citizen if he had been given lots of affection by his dad?

Children who have had a tough upbringing are more likely to make tough soldiers.

"These ceremonies, from antiquity to today, resemble closely ... satanic rituals..."

Children’s bodies were particularly useful in curing disease.

"As late as the end of the nineteenth century, men who were brought into Old Bailey for having raped young girls were let go because 'they believed that they were curing themselves of venereal disease.'

7. "The evolution of childhood from incest to love and from abuse to empathy has been a slow, uneven path, but one whose progressive direction is, I think, unmistakable."

"If the parent - the mother, for most of history - is given even the most minimal support by society, the evolution of childhood progresses...

"If little girls are treated particularly badly, they grow up to be mothers who cannot rework their traumas, and history is frozen...

"It is only when changes in childhood occur that ... changes in the brain can occur and societies can begin to progress and move in unpredictable new directions that are more adaptive..."

8. There are six childrearing modes that I have suggested are common to all groups...

1. The earliest childrearing mode I have called infanticidal.

"I have estimated that perhaps half of all children born in antiquity were killed by their caretakers, declining to about a third in medieval times and dropping to under one percent only by the eighteenth century."

"In most simple societies today in such areas as New Guinea, boys and girls are used sexually by both their mothers and by the men, who gang rape girls and often are also pederasts who use the boys sexually, have boy-wives, or force all the boys to fellate them daily from age seven to fourteen..."

"The Greek and Roman child lived his or her earliest years in an atmosphere of sexual abuse...

"Boys ... were regularly handed over by their parents to neighboring men to be raped...

"Child brothels, rent-a-boy services and sex slavery flourished in every city in antiquity...

"Christianity constructed its central myth of the Father sending his son down to be penetrated by a soldier’s lance in order to restage the common experience of fathers giving their boys to a neighbor to be sexually penetrated.

"Those who accepted the myth, accepted the penetration, and were promised the Father’s love and Mary’s tears in return."

2. "I labeled the second stage the abandoning mode..."

"Through the nineteenth century over half of the children born in Florence, for instance, were dumped into foundling homes at birth, to be picked up by their families - if they lived that long (the majority died) - when they were around five years old, thus avoiding having homes where crying babies disturbed the peace.

"The same abandonment was common in France, where, in 1900, over 90 % of the babies born in Paris were carted out to the countryside to wetnurses at birth. As one author put it, 'mother love' was a late historical achievement, not an instinctual trait...

"The erotic beating of children continued in Christian times...

"Century after century of battered children grew up to batter their own children in turn.

3. By the thirteenth century in the West ... some advanced parents began to practice what I have termed the ambivalent mode of childrearing, where the child was not born completely evil... The mother might herself nurse her infant.

The fifteenth and sixteenth centuries in Western Europe saw vastly improved childrearing.

This "allowed at least some of the schizoid and borderline personalities of antiquity and medieval times - who regularly heard voices and hallucinated visions - to move on to the more integrated, less splitting modern neurotic personality more familiar to recent times...

"The sixteenth-century watershed in childrearing allowed people to reduce splitting and feel real depression for the first time, as can be seen in ... the ability of Protestants to end the good mother/bad mother splitting of Mary/Eve, and the ability to internalize the projective panoply of split Catholic saints/devils into Protestant depressive guilt.

"With this vast improvement in childrearing - in some families at least - the modern world could begin, with the development of science, technology and democratization now being possible in parts of the West."

4. "By the seventeenth century, the intrusive mode of childrearing began, particularly in England, America and France, whereby the child was seen as less full of dangerous projections...

"Intrusive parenting, in essence, began to substitute psychological pressure for physical abuse, so that rather than whipping the child to prevent it from sin, it was, for instance, shut up in the dark closets for hours or left without food, sometimes for days.

"One mother shut her three-year-old boy up in a drawer.

"The intrusive mode required ... a steady pressure on the child to “break its will”...

"John Wesley’s mother said of her babies, “When turned a year old (and some before), they were taught to fear the rod, and to cry softly.”

"A mother wrote of her first battle with her four-month-old infant, “I whipped him til he was actually black and blue, and until I could not whip him any more, and he never gave up one single inch.”

"Religion was a further source of terrorizing. God was said to “hold you over the pit of hell, much as one holds a spider, or some loathsome insect, over the fire”..."


5. "By the nineteenth century’s ... more gentle psychological means began to be used to “socialize” the child.

"The socializing mode is still the main model of upbringing in Western nations, featuring the mother as trainer and the father as provider and protector, and the child is seen as slowly being made to conform to the parents’ model of goodness.

"By the nineteenth century parents ... still sent their children to schools where they were erotically whipped on the bare buttocks and usually buggered by the older boys and masters.

As John Addington Symonds reported his experience as a boy at public school:

"Every boy of good looks had a female name, and was recognized either as a public prostitute or as some bigger fellow’s ‘bitch.’ ... Here and there one could not avoid seeing acts of onanism, mutual masturbation, or the sports of naked boys in bed together...

"Those who tried to pass child labor legislation to reduce horrendous working conditions and hours were labeled Communists...

"Even so, the decrease in parental seduction and beating during the intrusive mode produced an explosion of social innovation, allowing nations to produce the democratic and industrial revolutions of the modern period."

6. "What kind of society might be envisioned by children brought up under the latest childrearing mode - what I have termed the helping mode - whereby a minority of parents are now trying to help their children reach their own goals at each stage of life, rather than socializing them into adult goals - is yet to be seen...

"That helping mode children grow up to be incapable of creating wars is also becoming evident from watching the anti-war activities of my children and those of their friends who have been brought up by other helping mode parents.

"For war is only understandable as a sacrificial ritual in which young men are sent by their parents to be hurt and killed as representatives of the independence-seeking parts of themselves.

"Psychohistorians have regularly found that images on the magazine covers and in political cartoons in the months prior to wars reveal fears of the nation becoming “too soft” and vulnerable, with images of dangerous women threatening to engulf and hurt people...

9. "That all social violence - whether by war, revolution or economic exploitation - is ultimately a consequence of child abuse should not surprise us.

"The propensity to reinflict childhood traumas upon others in socially-approved violence is actually far more able to explain and predict the actual outbreak of wars than the usual economic motivations, and we are likely to continue to undergo our periodic sacrificial rituals of war if the infliction of childhood trauma continues.

"Clear evidence has been published in The Journal of Psychohistory that the more traumatic one’s childhood, the more one is likely to be in favor of military solutions to social problems..."


10. "We cannot be content to only continue to do endless repair work on damaged adults, with more jails and police and therapists and political movements.

"Our task now must be to create an entirely new profession of “child helpers” who can reach out to every new child born on earth and help its parents give it love and independence...

" The success of parenting centers such as the one pioneered in Boulder, Colorado, for instance, has been astonishing.

"Through parenting classes and home visiting by paraprofessionals, they have measurably reduced child abuse, as shown by careful followup studies and by reduced police reports and hospital entrance rates.

"All this has been accomplished with very small monetary outlays, since these parent outreach centers operate mainly with volunteer labor, while it has the potential to save trillions of dollars annually in the costs of social violence, police enforcement, jails and other consequences of the widespread child abuse of today.

"Such a parent support movement would resemble the universal education movement of over a century ago...


"Do we really want to have massive armies and jails and emotionally crippled adults forever?

"Must each generation continue to torture and neglect its children so they repeat the violence and economic exploitation of previous generations?

"Why not achieve meaningful political and social revolution by first achieving a parenting revolution?

"If war, social violence, class domination and economic destruction of wealth are really revenge rituals for childhood trauma, how else can we remove the source of these rituals? How else end child abuse and neglect? How else increase the real wealth of nations, our next generation? How else achieve a world of love and laughter of which we are truly capable?"

GANGING UP ON THE USA, IN YEKATERINBURG

Can we expect the CIA and its friends to take action against India, Pakistan, Brazil, Iran, Russia and China?

In mid June 2009, these countries are meeting in Yekaterinburg in Russia.

The leaders of India and Pakistan are likely to meet at this Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) meeting.

The leaders of Afghanistan, and Iran are also expected to be in Yekaterinburg.

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) comprises Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrghyzstan and Uzbekistan, with observer status for Iran, India, Pakistan and Mongolia.

Brazil, Russia, India and China will hold a separate BRIC summit in Yekaterinburg, after the SCO meeting. - India, Pakistan leaders may meet at Russia SCO summit

Challenging America will be the main focus of the meetings in Yekaterinburg, according to Professor Michael Hudson, writing at Global Research, on 13 June 2009.

Among the points made by Professor Hudson:

1. The attendees in Russia say they are discussing mutual aid.

This mutual aid will not involve the USA, NATO or the US dollar as a vehicle for trade.

In 2005 the SCO asked the USA to set a timeline to withdraw from its military bases in Central Asia.

2. The Yekaterinburg agenda is about setting up a new financial and defense system.

At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on 5 June 2009, Russia's Mr. Medvedev called for China, Russia and India to "build an increasingly multipolar world order."

Professor Hudson writes:

"What this means in plain English is:

"We have reached our limit in subsidizing the United States’ military encirclement of Eurasia while also allowing the US to appropriate our exports, companies, stocks and real estate in exchange for paper money of questionable worth."

3. In June 2009, Medvedev said: "The artificially maintained unipolar system" is based on "one big centre of consumption, financed by a growing deficit, and thus growing debts, one formerly strong reserve currency, and one dominant system of assessing assets and risks."

Medvedev concluded that the cause of the global financial crisis is that the United States makes too little and spends too much.

4. And the USA has very large military spending. It has recently increased military aid to Georgia; it wants the NATO missile shield in Eastern Europe; it is building up forces in the oil-rich Middle East and Central Asia.

5. Successful trading countries like China end up with lots of dollars.

China can use these dollars to buy US Treasury bills.

Or, China can stop buying US Treasury bills.

That would mean the dollar would fall and the Chinese currency would rise.

This would price China's exports out of world markets and hence create unemployment and business insolvency.

Countries like China have been hooked into the dollar system.

Now some of them want to find a way out.

6. Back in 1971, the USA was spending too much on its military.

The US balance of payments was in deficit.

The USA came off gold.

Central banks lent money to the USA and were given US Treasury Bonds.

These loans have been helping to keep the USA afloat.

A very large chunk of Washington's spending is for defence and military operations.

The international financial system is thus organized in such a way that it finances the Pentagon and US buyouts of foreign assets.

7. Now, the SCO and BRIC countries intend to trade in their own currencies.

China has made deals with Argentina and Brazil to carry out their trade in the Chinese renminbi rather than the dollar.

China has made a deal with Malaysia to carry out trade between the two countries in renminbi.

8. The United States is now the world’s largest debtor.

But, the USA has avoided the pain of 'structural adjustments' imposed on other debtor economies.

9. The USA tells debtor economies to:

A. Sell off their public utilities

B. Sell off their natural resources.

C. Raise their interest rates.

D. Increase taxes.

E. Gut social safety nets.

F. Squeeze out money to pay creditors.

10. In the USA there have been tax cuts and interest rates have been reduced.

China was alloed to invest in some dud American companies but was blocked from buying Unocal.

11. Yu Yongding, a former Chinese central bank advisor, suggested that the USA should cut back its military budget.

Since the 13th century, war has been a major factor in creating debt.

Normal peacetime budgets tend to be balanced.

12. China, Russia and their non-aligned allies want the USA to stop living off the savings of others and going in for unlimited military expenditures and adventures.

JAKARTA, 21 July 2008 (IRIN) – Thirteen toddlers are fighting for their lives in Ba’a hospital ... All of them are suffering from malnutrition.

“They are very weak – only skin and bones and swollen stomachs,” Dr Rina Sudjiawati told IRIN...

Dozens of Indonesian children under five died of malnutrition in the first six months of 2008, according to the health authorities, although no accurate figure can be determined.

The World Food Programme (WFP) estimates 13 million children in Indonesia suffer from malnutrition. In some Indonesian districts about 50 percent of infants and young children are underweight.

“Some parts of this country have even worse data than sub-Saharan Africa,” said Anne Vincent, head of the UN Children’s Fund’s (UNICEF’s) health and nutrition section in Indonesia.

Vincent is “appalled” by eating habits in Indonesia. “Sometimes they give their children only rice with water. Kids don’t grow on that.” (Jakarta (children's day, financial reform, sex work, and ...)

Indonesia's president is General (retired) Yudhoyono, a friend of the Pentagon.

THE PENTAGON CONTROLS THE EU?

"NATO and the EU are making rather good progress in coordinating the development of modern military capabilities. I am optimistic that we can extend our cooperation to additional area ... such as the Caucasus and Central Asia."(NATO International, March 31, 2005)

4. In 2009, Giampaolo Di Paola, Chairman of NATO’s Military Committee, spoke of the "need for a new form of world governance in which NATO, the EU, and other major international organisations have a part to play." (ADN Kronos International [Italy], February 13, 2009)

5. The main EU and European NATO states are the former colonial powers - Britain, France, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, Italy and Germany.

6. British troops are back in Afghanistan, Iraq and Sierra Leone; French ones in Haiti and Cote d’Ivoire; American armed forces are back in the Philippines.

All 26 NATO states have military personnel in Iraq.

7. In 2005, the EU’s Javier Solana, former NATO Secretary General, spoke about the EU’s expanding military buildup.

He said that "by becoming a stronger and more capable international actor, we will be a better partner for the United States."

He spoke of the Balkans as the original testing ground for this triumvirate, “Through our concerted efforts, with the United States and NATO...."(Defense News, November 10, 2005)

8. In 2008, the EU’s presidency was held by France and Nicholas Sarkozy 'was the prime mover in pushing for the EU-NATO-US axis at the Bucharest summit'.

Bush’s speech at the summit pointed out that "NATO is no longer a static alliance....It is now an expeditionary alliance that is sending its forces across the world...." (USA Today, April 1, 2008)

9. After the summit, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned, "This is....an attempt to form some new global union with a Western core wishing to claim all but UN functions." (Interfax, April 17, 2008)

10. The EU is training security personnel in Afghanistan.

11. In December 2009, British Foreign Secretary David Miliband and French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner confirmed the EU’s role in supplementing US and NATO arms and military involvement in the South Caucasus.

12. The EU is becoming integrated with NATO.

"The US is ... the central foundation, of NATO."

Thus, the EU is "in effect subordinated to Washington."
