INDONESIA HEATS UP

Robert Gates, on a 2010 visit to Indonesia, during which he announced that the US would continue helping to train Kopassus, an elite special forces unit accused of kidnappings and assassinations. Defense Dept. photo by Cherie Cullen

Indonesia is under attack.

1. On 21 March 2012, a bomb hit the outside of the Indonesian embassy in Paris.

The gas cylinder package had originally been inside the building but was removed by an observant member of staff.

(Bomb blast shakes Paris as 'gas cylinder package' explodes outside.)

2. On 19 March 2012, we read that five suspected militants, who had reportedly surveyed targets for attack on Bali, have been shot dead by Indonesian police.

The killings follow the start of a trial of Umar Patek, an Islamist militant believed to have worked for the CIA.

Patek is accused of making the bombs used in the 2002 Bali nightclubs attack, which has been linked to the CIA and elements of the Indonesian military.

Umar Patek was captured in Abbottabad, where the CIA is believed to have had a number of safe houses.

Patek is also accused of mixing chemicals for 13 bombs that hit five churches in Jakarta on Christmas Eve, 2000, killing about 15 people. These church attacks are believed to have links to elements of the Indonesian military.

Indonesia

Why is Indonesia under attack?

1. China and Indonesia have signed deals worth a potential $17 bln

China and Indonesia signed prospective deals worth potentially more than $17 billion on Friday in the fields of mining, hydropower and steel, state media reported, during a visit by Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to Beijing.

2. INDONESIA has called on Australia to accept that the rise of China is natural and not threatening.

"Indonesia's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Marty Natalegawa, said countries should not react to the rise of China ''through traditional alliances and fault lines'', a veiled reference to the proposed US Marine deployment to the Northern Territory, a decision he criticised four months ago."

Indonesia urges calm over rise of China

3. Indonesia's 'Resource Nationalism' is upsetting foreign investors

A new law in Indonesia forces foreigners to divest at least 51 percent of their shares to Indonesians over a 10-year period.

Certain powerful Indonesians want a bigger share of the cake.

Indonesia has some of the world's biggest untapped mineral reserves, including tin, nickel, copper and gold.

In 2011 a three-month strike at a giant gold and copper mine owned by US company Freeport-McMoRan, led to a 37 percent pay rise for workers.

Indonesia

4. Indonesia wants oil from Iran.

Indonesia does not want an Iran crisis that will put up the cost of oil even further.

Indonesia Must Buy Iranian Oil Erwin Wirawan

Indonesia

What happens next?

1. Indonesia is considering raising fuel prices or lowering the subsidy to private vehicles.

The government is expected to make a decision by the end of March.

There have been protests.

Some protesters have chanted "Crush SBY, bring down SBY-Boediono regime", referring to President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

CIA'S MEK DID BANGKOK EXPLOSIONS - REPORT

On 20 february 2012, we learn from the Bangkok Post that the people who did the Thailand Bombing were 'Anti-Iran Exiles'.

(Bomb suspects 'were anti-Iran exiles')

"Four Iranians suspected of involvement in a botched bomb plot ... in Bangkok were members of an exiled Iranian opposition group which wanted the incident to reflect badly on Tehran....

"The four belonged to the Mujahedin-e Khalq Organisation - known as MEK."

IRAN IS BACKWARD AND EASY TO BREAK UP?

1960s Iran - Website for this image

On 16 February 2012, in congressional hearings, US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said that Iran has not decided to develop an atomic bomb.

Panetta: No Iranian nukes

"The intelligence does not show that they've made the decision to proceed with developing a nuclear weapon," Panetta said.

The US, however, continues to apply sanctions on Iran.

The CIA and MI6 put the Ayatollahs into power to weaken Iran and keep it backward.

They have succeeded.

Boyscouts in 1960s Iran

Iran has recently made an announcement about nuclear energy development.

US State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said the announcement was 'hyped' for a domestic audience.

"Our view on this is that it’s not terribly new and it’s not terribly impressive," she said.

The Shah was toppled by the CIA and MI6 partly because he was modernising Iran, and cutting down on the heroin trade.

The well informed Mostaque Ali (Further clarification after "lock-step" faux pas.) comments:

"Mullah Iran has a track record of boasting about alleged technological achievements that don't exist going back to the 1980's

"There are various domestic psychological reasons for this.

"The Mullahs came to power in 1979, as latter day Luddites (people opposed to modern machinery) at the behest of the USA/UK

"The mullahs shut down the ... Shah's ambitious nuclear program of $90 billion ...which would be $360 billion at today's prices (2012).

"Though the mullahs have restarted the civilian nuclear program begun by the Shah, and attempted to complete nuclear power stations begun in the 1970's by the Shah, there is no way the mullahs are going to invest the huge amounts of capital investment that the Shah promised.

"Maybe only 10% of what the Shah would have spent, in the next 10-20 years.

"Why?

(i) "The Mullahs are Luddites who aren't into technical modernization of the Iranian economy, which might produce a very large prosperous middle class.

"Instead the mullahs have been busy encouraging the technical class/middle class leave Iran - up to 5,000,000 of them.

"The mullahs see the middle class as threats to their power, and have thus allied themselves with the villagers and urban working class, at least through sloganism.

(ii) "The fear that Iran might run out of oil ... has passed. Hence the urgency to build alternative power no longer exists."

IR04-13
Iran by Sergio Pessolano

Professor Bernard Lewis, at the Bilderberg Meeting in Baden, Austria, on April 27-29, 1979 "proposed the fragmentation and balkanization of Iran along regional, ethnic and linguistic lines."

On 27 December 2009, SELIG S. HARRISON, at the new York Times, wrote about Tehran's Biggest Fear.

According to Harrison, the biggest threat to the ruling ayatollahs and generals in Iran comes from the separatist groups in Kurdish, Baluch, Azeri and Arab ethnic minority regions that make up some 44 percent of Iran's population.

During the Bush administration, the plan was "limited covert action carried out by proxy, in the case of the Baluch, through Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence Directorate or, I.S.I., and in the case of the Kurds by the C.I.A. in cooperation with Israel’s Mossad."

The C.I.A. provided weapons aid and training to the main Kurdish rebel group in Iran, according to U.S. journalists, Jon Lee Anderson and Seymour Hersh of the New Yorker and Borzou Daragahi of the Los Angeles Times.

The Arab separatists live in a province which produces 80 percent of Iran's crude oil revenue.

NATO TO ARM IRAN?

Remember Iran-Contra?

"Ok so you smell a rat, but maybe the wrong rat.

"Nato needs to strengthen Iran before it leaves Afghanistan.

"It needs Iran to participate in the rounding up and ethnic cleansing process of exiting Afghanistan...

"The function of the Fox Werrity Gould meetings was to discuss how to give Iran a great deal more firepower, to reassure Israel, than it could admit to be doing.

"Hence the secrecy. Werrity is a broker for the vast orders for arms to be placed at Iran’s disposal, and Fox is the broker for the policy of helping Iran."

Gould-Werritty: the Continuing Cover-Up

Iran and Afghanistan

Following the emergence of the Taliban and their harsh treatment of Afghanistan's minorities, Iran stepped up assistance to the Northern Alliance.

Relations with the Taliban deteriorated further in 1998 after Taliban forces seized the Iranian consulate in Mazari Sharif and executed Iranian diplomats.

Following this incident, Iran almost went to war with the Taliban but intervention by the United Nations Security Council and the United States prevented it.

Iran was a key factor in the overthrow of the Taliban in 2001. (Afghanistan–Iran relations a)

According to the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) (Iran and the Future of Afghanistan - Council on Foreign Relations):

"Gen. David H. Petraeus ... says Washington and Iran could coalesce around stabilizing Afghanistan.

"Admiral Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, echoed the sentiment (PDF) in late January 2009.

"NATO partners, too, have sought to include Iran in Afghan strategy decisions.

"German lawmakers have called for the creation of a 'contact group' of nations to chart a new regional course.

"'Such an initiative, that would include Iran, would benefit if it came to direct talks between Washington and Tehran,'" Andreas Schockenhoff, vice chairman of Germany's Christian Democratic Party, said in a statement reported by German media."

IRAN IS RUN BY THE CIA

On 3 November 2011, Saman Mohammadi, at The Excavator, points out that:

The British and U.S. governments put Khomeini into power in Iran in 1979

From this we learn:

1. The CIA and its friends toppled both Gaddafi and the Shah.

In each case the West trained the Islamic extremists and then put them into power.

Historian F William Engdahl says that the Arab Spring is a creation of the U.S. State Department.

U.S. policy consists of provoking revolutions, stirring up troubles, and overthrowing governments.

(The Greeks might agree with that.)

Three Iranian village girls

Three Iranian village girls by Damon Lynch

2. The Shah said: "If you lift up Khomeini's beard, you will find Made In England written under his chin."

The Shah told David Frost:

"Do you think that Mr. Khomeini, an uneducated person ... could have planned all this, masterminded all this, set up all the organizations...

"I know that a tremendous amount of money was spent...

"I know that top experts in propaganda were used to show us like tyrants and monsters, and the other side as democratic, liberal revolutionaries who wanted to save the country.

"I know how mean the BBC, British Broadcasting Corporation, had been towards us... So it seemed that it was really a very well orchestrated conspiracy."

3. The BBC promoted Khomeini, according to Dr. Ronen Bergman, an Israeli investigative journalist and author of the 2008 book, 'The Secret War with Iran'.

A "propaganda tool for Khomeini was none other than the Persian-language broadcasts of the British Broadcasting Corporation," wrote Bergman.

"The BBC gave free hours of free broadcast to Khomeini from Paris," said Bergman.

4. Historian F. William Engdahl, in his 2004 book A Century Of War : Anglo-American Oil Politics and the New World Order, wrote:

"In November 1978, President Carter named the Bilderberg group's George Ball, another member of the Trilateral Commission, to head a special White House Iran task force under the National Security Council's Brzezinski.

"Ball recommended that Washington drop support for the Shah of Iran and support the fundamentalistic Islamic opposition of Ayatollah Khomeini.

Friends for Ever

"Robert Bowie from the CIA was one of the lead 'case officers' in the new CIA-led coup against the man their covert actions had placed into power 25 years earlier.

"Their scheme was based on a detailed study of the phenomenon of Islamic fundamentalism, as presented by British Islamic expert, Dr. Bernard Lewis, then on assignment at Princeton University in the United States.

"Lewis's scheme, which was unveiled at the May 1979 Bilderberg meeting in Austria, endorsed the radical Muslim Brotherhood movement behind Khomeini, in order to promote balkanization of the entire Muslim Near East along tribal and religious lines.

"Lewis argued that the West should encourage autonomous groups such as the Kurds, Armenians, Lebanese Maronites, Ethiopian Copts, Azerbaijani Turks, and so forth.

"The chaos would spread in what he termed an 'Arc of Crisis,' which would spill over into Muslim regions of the Soviet Union.

"The coup against the Shah was run by British and American intelligence...

"During 1978, negotiations were under way between the Shah's government and British Petroleum for renewal of the 25-year old extraction agreement.

"By October 1978, the talks had collapsed over a British 'offer' which demanded exclusive rights to Iran's future oil output, while refusing to guarantee purchase of the oil.

"With their dependence on British-controlled export apparently at an end, Iran appeared on the verge of independence in its oil sales policy for the first time since 1953, with eager prospective buyers in Germany, France, Japan and elsewhere."

5. In his 1981 book, Hostage to Khomeini, journalist Robert Dreyfuss wrote:

"The mullahs did not come to rule in Iran on the basis of their own power; they were placed in power by men more evil than they - who would use the depravity of backwardness for their own ends.

"In September 1975, the Aspen Institute held a symposium in Persepolis, Iran...

"In the behind-the-scenes discussion, the plans for reversing the Shah's industrialization program and for turning Iran into a model dark ages regime were mapped out..."

Two girls and a bicycle

Two girls and a bicycle by Damon Lynch

6. There is a theory that Khomeini was a British agent.

An MI6 journalist was on the plane with Khomeini when he landed in Iran after the Shah went into exile.

According to The Guardian, British Intelligence recruited Benito Mussolini.

Fritz Springmeier wrote in an article called, To Love Or Hate - Know Your Enemy:

"The Christian Patriot movement and the Islamic fundamentalists are infiltrated with agent provocateurs who will encourage both groups to run to their own destruction...

"The Ayatollah Khomeini was British MI6.

"And tying together Saudi intelligence, Saddam Hussein’s intelligence and Egyptian intelligence (and previously the Shah’s CIA-led SAVAK) is a group called the Safari Club set up by French espionage."

Old man and the boys

Old man and the boys, Iran, by Kamshots

7. The Shah's nationalist policies were making him more popular in Iran and making his country more independent and more powerful.

This worried the CIA and MI6.

Keeping nations poor is the best way to control them.

1. The Shah bought land from the upper classes and, along with the crown's own land, sold it back cheaply to tenant farmers.

Over one a half million people to became land owners, thus ending the old feudal system.

2. The Shah allowed women the right to vote. He brought an end to the wearing of the veil.

3. He developed plans for a $90 billion nuclear power program.

Boys Army

Boys Army by Sharto

4. The Shah signed petroleum agreements with ENI, the Italian oil company.

The Shah's decision to increase Iranian oil production angered U.S. oil companies and others who wanted to maintain artificial scarcity in the international oil market in order to keep prices high and make more profits.

The Shah said that a couple of years before the Revolution he "heard from two different sources connected with the oil companies that the regime within Iran will change."

5. The Shah began to close down the opium industry. This had been created during the days of British influence.

6. The CIA and its friends want to create a clash of civilizations, in order to bring about a new world order and a global authoritarian government.

Gonbad Kavous

Iranian kids by Shapour

8. Israel provided financial and political support for Hamas in its early days to create an anti-Zionist resistance movement that spoke the language of violence and extremism instead of love and tolerance.

The CIA and MI6 have deep connections with the Muslim Brotherhood and use this alliance to silence democratic voices in Muslim countries and scare the people of the West about Islam's agenda.

The fundamentalist Mullahs in Iran were used by the CIA and MI6 throughout the post-World War II years as attack dogs against the central government.

The Taliban in Afghanistan were funded and trained by the CIA and Pakistani ISI. Osama Bin Laden was created by the CIA-MI6 network.

What is the basis of this intriguing relationship? Both the Islamic radicals and the anti-growth Western elite share the same goals: demodernization and war. Khomeini was told to turn back the clock, transform Iran into a medieval country, and brainwash a generation of youth into sacrificing themselves for Islam...

Al Qaeda flag over government building in Libya

9. Why did the U.S. and other Western powers delivered arms to Iran in the 1980s if they considered the regime to be its enemy.

Why did Khomeini decide to release the American hostages on the day that Reagan was declared the new president of America. Why give a victory to your enemy?

But, Khomeini was not an enemy, but a willful pawn of the U.S. and British elite...

And he wasn't even a legitimate Ayatollah.

A superior Ayatollah granted him Ayatollah status in 1963 to prevent his execution. He returned the favor in 1979 by putting him under house arrest and erasing the evidence of his gracious deed...

Modern wars are fought as a means to build a global totalitarian state, make obscene profits for the military-industrial complex, put governments into debt to international banksters, and reduce the population.

IRAN V SAUDIS IN IRAQ

Iran and Saudi Arabia.

The CIA sees Iran as having become too influential in Iraq, Lebanon, Syria and perhaps even Libya.

The CIA likes to stir up wars.

Getting Sunnis to fight Shias is part of the policy of 'divide and rule'.

The CIA does not want Iran to become an ally of Saudi Arabia.

According to The Wall Street Journal (on 17 October 2011: Iran - Saudi Arabia tensions are spurring fears of a proxy war):

1. The proxy war would be in Iraq, with Sunni groups (backed by Saudi Arabia) versus Shia groups (backed by Iran).

2. The proxy war might come with the expected withdrawal of at least some U.S. military troops at the end of 2011.

3. Iran opposes the troublemakers in Syria and backs Assad.

But Saudi Arabia blames Iran for supporting the troublemakers in Bahrain and Yemen.

4. Mohsen Sazegara was a founder of the Revolutionary Guards in Iran.

He is now a vocal opponent of Iran's regime.

(The CIA were reportedly allied with the Revolutionary Guards against the Shah)

5. The USA has recently accused the Revolutionary Guards of hiring a Mexican hitman to kill the Saudi ambassador to Washington.

6. Dianne Feinstein, the US Senate Intelligence Committee chairman, has said that Obama should put sanctions on Iran's central bank in response to the alleged plot.

7. Arab youth activists, the backbone of the (CIA) pro-democracy uprisings, have accused the Quds Force - the most elite and secretive branch of the Revolutionary Guards - of aiding Assad in its crackdowns against dissent.

8. On 15 October 2011, Associated Press reported that the U.S. could drop its plan to keep thousands of troops in Iraq under a new security deal with the Iraqi government.

Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki governs over a coalition of Iranian-backed Shiite parties.

Reportedly he can't convince hard-line Shiites to accept an extension of the U.S. military presence.

9. A Saudi official is quoted as saying that "If Washington can't protect our interests in the region, we'll have to do it ourselves."

10. Reportedly, Arab officials believe that the funds and aid from Iran to Iraqi Shiites is even stronger than five years ago.

They also believe support to Iraqi Sunnis from Saudi Arabia can be easily restored.

WALL STREET PROTESTS, 9 11, THE CIA

Are they helping Petraeus?

All people power is ultimately run by the CIA.

What about the Wall Street protests?

"The demonstrations may appear spontaneous...

"But it is easy to see gatekeepers and countergangs operating in their midst, often with a frank counterinsurgency agenda.

"Occupy Wall Street in particular shows the heavy influence of union bureaucrats."

(An Emergency Program for Anti-Wall Street Protestors: Don’t Let Soros Hijack the Movement)

Is there a plot to put Petraeus into power?

"One personality above all others is being groomed by intelligence operatives and policy wonks, while built-up by the corporate media in the eyes of the public to intercede in America's accelerating political, economic, and even global tactical decline.

"This man is General David Petraeus."

(WARNING: Corporate-Fascist Military Coup Brewing in US?)

Does everyone work for the CIA?

Remember the people-power protests that toppled the Shah?

The present regime in Iran was put into power by the CIA. (The Ayatollahs and the CIA)

Al Qaeda is run by the CIA.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad suggests 9 11 was carried out by the CIA.

An al Qaeda magazine called Inspire attacks Ahmadinejad's 9/11 claims.

Ahmadinejad may be a cia agent?

Ahmadinejad suggests that Inspire is run by the CIA.

The Iranian state news says "reports released by al Qaeda are usually believed to be produced by the CIA."

Inspire recently featured a eulogy for Osama bin Laden, who long worked for the CIA.

Conclusion: the CIA usually controls both sides of the argument.

SAUDI-IRANIAN FRIENDSHIP?

Will Iran and Saudi Arabia become friends?

On 3 August 2011 it was reported that, according to Iranian MP Hossein Sobhaninia:

"Certain Western countries are concerned about the development of a strong relationship between Iran and Saudi Arabia."

(West concerned over Tehran-Riyadh strong ties: MP)

"Iran and Saudi Arabia plan to strengthen their relations and clear up misunderstandings, Tehran’s ambassador to Riyadh has said.

"Mohammad Javad Rasouli Mahallati told Saudi newspaper Al-Watan that Iran and Saudi Arabia should make efforts to clear up misunderstandings in order help promote their relations.

"Mahallati added current policies adopted by the officials of the two countries show that there is a positive tendency to resolve current disagreements.

"He went on to say certain countries are trying to fan the flames of current disagreements between Tehran and Riyadh."

(Iran, Saudi Arabia plan to clear up misunderstandings: envoy)

‎"As the United States prepares to withdraw its troops from Iraq to meet a year-end deadline, Iranian-backed Shiite insurgents have stepped up their attacks on U.S. troops while Saudi Arabia has begun to provide assistance to Sunni militias there, according to a report."

('This implies protracted and well-funded irregular warfare')

"Riyadh-Tehran relations are at their worst since the Saudis were funding Saddam Hussein’s legions to mow down Iranian infantry in the 1980s...

"Change in Damascus could upset relations with Tehran, severing its main logistical link to Hezbollah.

"Suddenly, there is the prospect of a Sunni-led Syria to counterbalance the Shia dominion in Baghdad...

"Riyadh has ... reportedly discussed with Washington increasing its crude supplies to China as a way to lure Beijing into reducing its investment in Iran’s energy sector...

"Iran remains resilient and has seen some improvements in its relations with Pakistan and Afghanistan, where US influence is waning..."

SAUDI ARABIA AND IRAN WORRY ABOUT LIBYA

Saudi Arabia and Iran are nervous about the CIA coups in North Africa.

On 6 June 2011, Anissa Haddadi, at the International Business Times, asks: Are the Libyan rebels backed by Saudi Arabia or by Iran?.

According to Anissa Haddadi:

1. Obama asked Saudi Arabia to arm the rebels in Libya.

Apparently, Saudi Arabia has not armed the rebels.

2. Saudi Arabia prevented the rebel leaders from reaching Qatar, where they had meetings planned.

3. Iran is sympathetic to the "Islamic awakening" in Libya but opposes the Nato military strikes.

4. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said: "The 'double standard' action of the Western countries in Bahrain and Libya and their silence towards the atrocities of the Zionist regime against the innocent Palestinians shows their contradictory performance in the world."

The supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has said: "Iran ... condemns the (NATO) military action in Libya."

USA WANTS COUP IN BAHRAIN

Saudi troops head into Bahrain, March 2011.

The US government wants change in Bahrain.

According to Elliot Abrams, of the Council on Foreign Relations:

"There will be no justice and no democracy until the royal family is gone."

(Elliott Abrams: Bahrain.)

The ruling family in Bahrain may not survive.

The mainly Shia protestors may yet topple the Sunni al-Khalifa monarchy.

This is important to both Shia Iran and Sunni Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have helped the Bahrain monarchy to crush dissent.

The Sunnis make up about 40% of the population of Bharain.

On 2 June 2011, The Economist reports ("The loathing persists") on the possibility that Bahrain will become like Iraq.

"The spectre of sectarian bloodletting in the manner of Lebanon and Iraq still frightens many people...

"Some Westerners are packing their bags...

"Banking, which once accounted for over a quarter of Bahrain’s wealth, is searching for safer climes."

The Economist reports (The loathing persists) on the Sunni-Shia divide.

"Teachers arrange 'thank you, Saudi' days in schools.

"The Bahraini king's men have razed dozens of Shia shrines and put up billboards on main roads near Sunni-populated suburbs, depicting nooses dangled over the heads of Shia leaders.

"Hundreds of public-sector Shias have been suspended, to the delight of Sunni immigrants from such places as Pakistan and Bangladesh seeking promotion.

"The Labour Market Regulatory Authority has purged the private sector of Shias suspected of sympathy with the protesters...

"Parliament has been stripped of many of its Shia representatives...

In April 2011, we read of tensions between Saudi Arabia and Iran.

According to Iran's PressTV, 'Saudi Arabia seeks to annex Kuwait'

According to a top Iranian, Saudi intervention in Bahrain is considered 'occupation'.

CIA SIDES WITH MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD IN EGYPT?

Website for this image

"An ex-CIA agent and counter-intelligence expert has revealed in a special report that Barack Obama has quietly appointed individuals who are friendly to radical Islam to key posts within the Administration." (Report - Obama quietly appoints Muslim Brotherhood to key posts.)

On 19 March 2011, Egyptians vote in a referendum on changes to the constitution.

On 17 March 2011, we read that, the constitutional changes will help the Muslim Brotherhood

According to the Financial Times: "The Muslim Brotherhood ... looks poised to emerge as the main beneficiary of new political arrangements to be put in place by Egypt's transitional military authorities."

Egypt's CIA-controlled generals seem to have decided to side with the CIA-controlled Muslim Brotherhood against the 'youth-led secular groups'.

"Some analysts and political activists said the Supreme Military Council ... may have decided that an alliance of conservative forces presents a better option for the future than that offered by the young secular groups." (the constitutional changes will help the Muslim Brotherhood)

Hossam Tammam, an analyst who specialises in Islamist groups, says "There are signs the military may have decided to bet on the Brotherhood as the biggest organised force on the street.

"The others (small parties and secular groups) may be seen by the army as representing an unwanted and radical transition to democracy." (the constitutional changes will help the Muslim Brotherhood)

The Muslim Brotherhood and Mubarak's National Democratic party "look set to dominate the next parliament." (the constitutional changes will help the Muslim Brotherhood)

The Brotherhood "is the only political group to have been represented on the panel of legal experts handpicked by the military that drafted the constitutional changes." (the constitutional changes will help the Muslim Brotherhood)

Eisenhower in the Oval Office with members of Muslim Brotherhood (What Is the Muslim Brotherhood, and Will It Take Over Egypt ...)

Remember Iran, and compare the Shah with Mubarak.

According to this article: "The British, the Middle East and Radical Islam - Red Moon Rising":

"Prior to the British-sponsored massive public relations campaign on behalf of the Ayatollah, the government of the Shah was loved by the vast majority of the population...

"The Shah began to push forward a number of nationalist policies that increased his popularity at home but, in some cases, worried the Anglo-American Establishment.

"First, he signed petroleum agreements with ENI, the Italian oil company.

"Then in 1963 he pushed forward on a series of popular reforms that became known as the White Revolution.

"The Shah evolved into a nationalist whose path paralleled that of Nasser far too much for the Establishment's liking:

"He bought land from the upper classes and, along with the crown's own land, sold it back cheaply to tenant farmers, allowing over one a half million people to become land owners and ending the old feudal system.

"He allowed women the right to vote, and brought an end to the wearing of the veil, which were 'Westernizing' moves unwelcomed by the religious sector.

"He pushed forward on a $90 billion nuclear power program.

"He moved to shut down the lucrative opium industry that had been created during the days of British Empire control that had been running for a hundred years.

"The attack on the Shah's government came through the Muslim Brotherhood and through the mullahs and ayatollahs of Iran, supported and manipulated by British Intelligence..."

Radio Free Iran reportedly claimed that while at Qom Khomeini received a "monthly stipend from the British, and he is in constant contact with his masters, the British."

WHO CONTROLS THE EGYPTIAN MILITARY? HISTORY OF MANIPULATION

US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen is greeted by Egyptian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Sami Enan in Cairo on 14 February 2010. Mullen was on a weeklong tour of the region.

1. It would appear that the Egyptian military is taking its orders from Washington.

The military's "displays of support for the protesters were conspicuous throughout the capital.

"In the most striking example, four armored military vehicles moved at the front of a crowd of thousands of protesters in a pitched battle against the Egyptian security police defending the Interior Ministry." (Egyptian Military Does Little to Quash Protests)

The tanks only appeared after the president had been fatally weakened.

2. Parts of Egypt are peaceful.

The organisers of the riots have concentrated on a relatively few key spots.

"The situation in the Red Sea resorts remain(s) calm."

Similarly, in Jakarta in May 1998, the military only had the resources to organise rioting in a few key areas of the city. (aangirfan: STAGED BY SPOOKS: FALL OF THE BERLIN WALL, ORANGE ... )

3. On 30 January 2011 we learn that Israel is denying reports of Israeli commandoes in Cairo to help topple Mubarak

Israel sees Egypt as its main Arab enemy. (WHAT THE USA AND ISRAEL REALLY THINK ABOUT EGYPT)

The Iranian media has reported that Israeli secret agents and Commandos are among the protestors and that they are deliberately creating riots and preventing the city from returning to order.

According to the Iranians, Egypt's Vice-President Suleiman is working for Israel.

On 29 January 2011, Hamad Subani wrote: "Tunisia & Egypt: Manufactured Crisis? "

Hamad Subani looks at some history:

1. During World War I, it was the British who organised the Arab revolts.

The British did this in order to break up the Turkish Ottoman Empire, which controlled most of the Middle East.

(This Turkish empire included Palestine and oil rich Iraq, both of which certain British leaders wanted to control.)

2. The Western powers decided which families were to be the nominal rulers of the Arab countries.

"The rulers of Jordan now exclusively marry into Western ruling elite. Libya has ... close secret ties with the British ruling elite."

(There is a suggestion of a link to Lockerbie -Are Tunisia and Egypt facing real unrest or a manufactured crisis? )

3. The present unrest "is very region-specific.

"It does not seem to be spreading to places ... which are already under the thumb of the Powers That Be."

4. "There is the case of German/Swedish snipers/hunters being caught in Tunisia."

5. "The Western media appears to be magnifying the crisis."

"ElBaradei is a trustee of the International Crisis Group.

"Another board member of this group is Zbigniew Brzezinski.

7. The Iranian Revolution of 1970 was "on the lines of an Islamicized French Revolution (mob rule, executions, secret courts, destruction and displacement of the former ruling class etc.)

"The revolutionaries managed to create a powerful police state that now spearheads the clash of civilizations rhetoric prescribed by the Powers That Be.

"The secret ties of the Western ruling elite with some of the revolutionaries has been documented."

Little did Mossadegh and the Shah know that "the Powers That Be saw them only as temporary placeholders until Iran was consolidated under a new regime that was to play a critical role in advancing the 'Clash of Civilizations' agenda."

Reza Shah "turned over the police, intelligence and economic affairs of his country to his Western 'friends' who promptly set out to use them to create the conditions necessary for the revolution..." (See also: aangirfan: The Shah of Iran was toppled by the CIA and MI6?)

8. In 1970, 'an opportunist', Anwar Sadat, became President of Egypt.

In 1977, Sadat 'naively' opened up Egypt’s economy to the West.

"The World Bank moved in, insisting that he remove subsidies on food...

"What followed were the Bread Riots in which 800 Egyptians were killed and Sadat was almost overthrown..."

Sadat was assassinated in 1981.

"There were certain secretive and shadowy elements who coordinated the assassination..."

AN ISLAMIST TUNISIA WILL SUIT THE CIA, THE SAUDIS, IRAN & THE MAFIA.

CIA boss Panetta and friends.

Iran has welcomed the revolution in Tunisia.

What about the Islamists in Tunisia?

The Islamist movement has been at the forefront of Tunisia's protests

Will the Islamists be used by Iran, or Saudi Arabia or the CIA or the Heroin traders?

Iran, Saudi Arabia and the CIA all appear to have a philosophy that could be described as 'fascist'.

The mad Moslems and the CIA have another thing in common: heroin.

"It has been said that the ubiquitous Rafsanjani family and also Ayatollah Vaez-Tabasi ... are deeply involved in the drug trade..." (Opium, Brown Sugar & Mullahs in Iran « Plateau of Iran )

"The gossip on the street, going well beyond the observable facts, has the Rafsanjanis stashing billions of dollars in bank accounts in Switzerland and Luxembourg; controlling huge swaths of waterfront in Iran's free economic zones on the Persian Gulf; and owning whole vacation resorts on the idyllic beaches of Dubai, Goa and Thailand." 1. In 1996, Tunisian Minister of Justice Sadok Chaabane said that Tunisian Islamists get their funding and political support from (1) Iran (2) Saudi Arabia.

(Justice Minister Describes Tunisia's Battle Against Islamist Takeover)

According to Chaabane, the 'Islamist' plan is to use Tunisia as "the gateway to its larger neighbors, Algeria and Morocco."

Tunisians belong to Sunni Islam, but Chaabane states that Tunisia's Islamist leaders will accept help from wherever they can find it.

Of course, some believe that the CIA sees Tunisia as its gateway into oil-rich Algeria and Libya.

And the CIA has been happy to use militant Moslems in Kosovo, Afghanistan and elsewhere.

2. Tunisia may now have a bigger problem with 'Islamist extremists' coming in from neighbouring Algeria.

In Algeria, war between the government and 'Islamists' has killed 200,000 people in the last twenty years.

(21 January 2011, Lin Noueihed of Reuters, "What role for the Islamists in the new Tunisia?")

3. In 1980, 30 armed men crossed from Algeria into Tunisia and made their way to the phosphate mining town of Gafsa in central Tunisia. (TUNISIA Plot - TIME)

There they were joined there by 20 other militants.

They tried to seize Gafsa's civil and military installations.

The local people refused to join the revolt.

Tunisian troops defeated the militants. 41 men died.

4. In 2007, Tunisia uncovered an alleged 'terrorist' plot.

"Police dismantled a 'terrorist' group after separate gun battles with suspects ... and recovered explosives, embassy maps and lists of foreign diplomats...

"The gun-battles ... were with members of a 'Salafist terrorist group' (CIA) comprised mainly of Tunisians...

"'Economic facilities' in resort towns had been targeted for attack by a jihadist group from neighbouring Algeria.

"They said the group was linked to the Al-Qaeda (CIA) affiliate Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat, a radical group which aims to create an Islamist state in Algeria.

"The group claimed responsibility for the April 2002 truck-bomb attack on a synagogue in Djerba, which killed 21 people including 14 German tourists." (aangirfan: The CIA, Mossad and the Djerba Bombing.)

Monastir. In the 1980s, a bomb exploded in a tourist hotel in the resort city of Monastir. A British tourist was maimed.

5. Habib Bourguiba, the first president of Tunisia, considered militant Islam a threat to the state.

In 1987, when Ben Ali became president, Islamists were released from jail and allowed to run in the 1989 elections.

Ennahda, or Renaissance, Tunisia's largest Islamist movement, came second to the ruling party.

They won 17% or 35% according to different sources.

Ben Ali reversed his policy.

Ghannouchi, who has been living in London.

Ennahda's leader Sheikh Rachid Ghannouchi was given protection by Britain..

Tunisia accused Ghannouchi of being behind a planned terrorist bombing campaign aimed at crippling Tunisia’s tourist industry. (Justice Minister Describes Tunisia's Battle Against Islamist Takeover)

A bomb that exploded in a tourist hotel in the resort city of Monastir severely maimed a British woman guest.

5. "Many fear that ... extremist ideas will (now) circulate..." as openly and as widely as democratic or secular ideas..." ("What role for the Islamists in the new Tunisia?")

6. Bernard Lewis helped to invent the West's new enemy, known as 'Islam'.

For the British, it was once the Jewish terrorists who were seen as being the enemy.

For the USA, it was once tiny Vietnam.

Professor Bernard Lewis is Jewish and has worked for British intelligence. (Bernard Lewis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia )

Lewis, born in London in 1916, is a historian and 'expert' on Islam.

In 1974, Lewis accepted a position at Princeton University.

In 1990, Lewis wrote an essay entitled The Roots of Muslim Rage.

In this essay, Lewis argued that the struggle between the West and Islam was gathering strength.

In this essay Lewis invented the phrase "clash of civilizations", which got mentioned in the book by Samuel Huntington.[13]

The phrase "clash of civilizations", was first used by Lewis at a meeting in Washington in 1957. [14]

There has been speculation that Lewis, the intelligence services and people like Brzezinski want to make the Moslem world look bad, so that it can be more easily controlled and exploited.

Much of the world's oil lies in Moslem lands.

How do you make Moslems look bad?

You can finance the extremists and help them into power.

You can carry out false flag operations.

Bernard Lewis argues (Bernard Lewis - Wikipedia) that the Middle East is backward due to its culture and religion.

The alternative view is that a country like Iraq is backward partly because of constant interference by countries such as Britain and the USA.

In his 1982 book Muslim Discovery of Europe, Lewis argues that Moslems behaved badly in the Algerian civil war (1992–98).

Lewis fails to point out that certain security services created the violence that began in Algeria in 1991. (aangirfan: Fake terror in Algeria; the US military in Algeria; oil ...)

Lewis fails to point out that many people believe that both Saddam and the Ayatollahs were put into power by the CIA. (aangirfan: Saddam worked for the CIA / aangirfan: The Ayatollahs and the CIA)
