NIXON - 'GAY, MAFIA-LINKED AND FASCIST'

Richard Nixon and Bebe Rebozo used to hold hands.

Nixon and Rebozo had links to America's top Mafia bosses.

Rebozo had a bedroom at the White House while Nixon was carpet-bombing Cambodia.

Rebozo, Nixon

Don Fulsom, veteran Washington reporter, has written Nixon's Darkest Secrets.

Did Nixon have a gay affair with a Mafia fixer? - Daily Mail

Fulsom quotes a former Time magazine reporter who, at a Washington dinner, saw Nixon and Rebozo holding hands under the table.

Fulsom quotes a journalist who says Nixon once put his arm around Rebozo 'the way you'd cuddle your senior prom date. Something was fishy there'.

General Alexander Haig, Nixon's chief of staff, reportedly imitated Rebozo's 'limp wrist' manner and 'joked' that Rebozo and Nixon were lovers.

Rebozo, Hoover, Nixon - all reportedly gay.

Fulsom says Nixon's relationship with his wife Pat was a sham.

They had separate bedrooms.

Rebozo had a bedroom at the White House, and was allowed to enter the White House without being logged by the secret service.

When Nixon holidayed in Key Biscayne, near Miami, Pat Nixon did not sleep in the same building.

Rebozo was in the house next door.

A former military aide to Nixon had the job of teaching Nixon how to kiss his wife.

Nixon, Robozo

Nixon first met Rebozo, during a holiday, in 1950.

Rebozo is quoted as saying of Nixon: "he doesn't chase women... he can't even fish."

Nixon and Rebozo became close buddies.

Nixon would spend holidays with Rebozo, but without Pat.

Holding hands

When Rebozo set up a bank in Florida, Nixon attended the opening and became the bank's first depositor.

The bank was reportedly used by the Mafia to launder stolen cash.

According to the FBI, Rebozo had close links to the Mafia's Santo Trafficante and Alfred 'Big Al' Polizzi who worked for Meyer Lansky.

At the age of 18, Rebozo reportedly had an affair with a young person called Donald Gunn.

A Miami resident told Nixon biographer Anthony Summers that Rebozo was part of Miami's gay community.

According to Summers, and co-writer Robbyn Swan, Nixon and Rebozo "held hands on occasion, and both men had problems with consummating physical relationships with women..."

During Nixon's first five years as president, both Nixon and Rebozo saw their personal wealth increase greatly.

Rebozo's wealth rose rose nearly seven-fold.

Rebozo was with Nixon as he was dying.

HOW THE CIA TOPPLED A GOVERNMENT

Obama's mother, who moved to Indonesia in 1967. Ann Dunham reportedly worked for a CIA front organisation.

How does the USA topple a government?

We learn about "The CIA, and a Secret War" from L. Fletcher Prouty.

"Blood ran in the streets. Villages were wiped out and a million people massacred..."

There were two attempts by the CIA.

The first one failed and the second was 'a success'.

The first action, in 1958, "involved no less than 42,000 CIA-armed rebels supported by a fleet of bombers and vast numbers of four-engine transport aircraft as well as submarine assistance from the U.S. Navy."

The CIA's 1958 attack on Indonesia, the largest Moslem country in the world, was a total failure.

Indonesia's army stayed loyal to president Sukarno and 'the rebels' were defeated.

Indonesia's President Sukarno with Johnson, who was president at the time of the 1965 coup in Indonesia which toppled Sukarno.

The CIA got to work on the Indonesian generals, such as Suharto.

The second CIA attack on Indonesia, in 1965, was 'a success'.

It brought the CIA's General Suharto to power.

General Suharto 'proceeded to assassinate nearly one million people.'

Today, "major U.S. enterprises are plundering the raw material wealth of Indonesia - rubber, tin, and oil."

The Indonesian president who was toppled in 1965 was Sukarno.

Sukarno had wanted Indonesia to be neutral.

Suharto with Nixon

L. Fletcher Prouty.looks at the roles played by Vice President Richard Nixon and the CIA in the failed 1958 attempt to topple Sukarno.

In Washington the Indonesian military attache got to know the CIA.

The CIA's Frank Wisner arranged for the miltary attache and CIA agents to visit Indonesian 'rebels'.

The CIA got its agents within the Philippines military to lend a hand.

The CIA's Frank Wisner, aided by Richard Helms, was in command of the 1958 operation.

General Lyman Lemnitzer, in Japan, provided weapons.

Rebel Indonesians, trained and equipped in the Philippines, were returned to Sumatra, in Indonesia.

Frank Wisner had his forward headquarters in Singapore.

Keeping an eye on the situation were President Eisenhower, CIA boss Allen Dulles, and Vice President Nixon.

Nixon chaired the "clandestine affairs committee" of the National Security Council.

"In other words nothing was done in Indonesia that was not directed by Nixon."

The CIA's Allen Pope during his trial.

"While the CIA was supporting up to 100,000 rebels, the State Department professed innocence.

"The U.S. ambassador, Howard P. Jones, maintained that the United States had nothing to do with the rebellion."

US Secretary of State John Foster Dulles issued a statement saying that the United States would not provide arms to either side.

However, the USA's B-26 bombers were secretly dropping bombs.

U.S. Navy submarines were aiding the rebels.

One day, a B-26 came upon an Indonesian ship.

The B-26 was hit and it ditched near the ship.

The CIA pilot, an American named Allan Lawrence Pope, was captured.

Sukarno had his proof of U.S. involvement.

The 1958 rebellion collapsed.

Nixon sacked Frank Wisner.

Wisner had been Allen Dulles' heir apparent.

Nixon was not popular with the CIA.

RIOTS HELP THE RIGHT WING

Detroit 1967

The Economist suggests that riots help the 'right wing'.

(Bagehot: After the inferno The Economist)

In 1967, in President Johnson's USA, there were riots in Detroit and elsewhere.

The US media linked young people to drugs, wild sex and anti-war activity.

The right-wing Richard Nixon benefited from the riots and 'moral decline' and was elected president in 1969.

Brixton 1981

In 1981 and in 1985 there were riots in Brixton in London, in prime minister Margaret Thatcher's Britain.

The right-wing Margaret Thatcher appeared to benefit from the riots as she remained in power until 1990.

In 2005 there were riots in France.

The riots appeared to help the right-wing Nicolas Sarkozy become president in 2007.

The 2011 riots in England may help the right-wing UK prime minister David Cameron to stay in power.

Cameron wants to cut spending on welfare.

Riots in Obama's USA could benefit some right-wing Republican.

~~

What have been the results of the riots in Egypt?

The generals currently run the country.

What have been the results of the riots in Tunisia?

The generals currently run the country.

What was the result of the 1998 riots in Jakarta?

The current president of Indonesia is a former Suharto general, Susilo Yudhoyono.

~~

We are not suggesting that the 'left-wing' is necessarily 'better' than the 'right-wing'.

In the USA, both President Johnson and President Nixon supported the Military-Industrial-Narco-Complex.

The leaders of both the 'right' and the 'left' are apparently chosen by the 'bad guys'.

Remember that Britain's SAS trained the Khmer Rouge

.

At a time when the USA is supporting Israel's actions in Palestine, we should remember that the USA and UK supported Pol Pot and his murderous Khmer Rouge.

The Kmer Rouge killed off around one quarter of Cambodia's population.

Vietnam was pro-Russia.

Pol Pot was not pro-Russia.

So the USA and UK supported Pol Pot.

POL POT

In 1970, Cambodia's head of state Prince Sihanouk was toppled by pro-American forces.

In the early 1970s, the USA was bombing sections of Cambodia as part of its Vietnam War. This helped win recruits for Pol Pot.

Pol Pot ran the government of Cambodia from 1975 until 1979, although he was influential before 1975.

In 1972, the Vietnamese intervened in Cambodia against Pol pot's group.

"Washington took immediate steps to preserve the Khmer Rouge as a guerrilla movement," according to Jack Colhoun in Covert Action Quarterly magazine, Summer 1990. (US supports Pol Pot)

Zbigniew Brzezinski said, "I encouraged the Chinese to support Pol Pot. I encouraged the Thai to help the DK (Democratic Kampuchea)."

The USA allowed the Khmer Rouge to use camps in Thailand.

John Pilger, 17 April 2000, wrote in the New Statesman, about US and UK help to Pol Pot. (New Statesman - How Thatcher gave Pol Pot a hand)

Almost two million Cambodians died as a result of Pol Pot.

John Pilger argues that these lives could have been saved if the US and Britain had not helped Pol Pot's Khmer Rouge.

Kissinger

The illegal bombing of neutral Cambodia by President Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger, between 1969 and 1973, killed an estimated half a million Cambodians, and helped Pol Pot gain recruits.

The Khmer Rouge were overthrown by the Vietnamese at the end of 1978.

In the years that followed, the US and the UK's Thatcher government, backed Pol Pot in exile in Thailand.

Khmer Rouge representatives were allowed to continue occupying Cambodia's seat at the UN.

Brzezinski

In 1981, President Jimmy Carter's national security adviser, Zbigniew Brzezinski, said: "I encouraged the Chinese to support Pol Pot."

The US, he said, "winked publicly" as China sent arms to the Khmer Rouge.

The US secretly funded Pol Pot in exile.

This was revealed in correspondence to a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

In November 1980, Dr Ray Cline, a former deputy director of the CIA, made a visit to a Khmer Rouge operational headquarters.

In 1982, the US invented the Coalition of the Democratic Government of Kampuchea.

According to John pilger, the 'Coalition' was dominated, diplomatically and militarily, by the Khmer Rouge.

One of Pol Pot's closet cronies, Thaoun Prasith, ran the office at the UN in New York.

Britain's Special Air Services (SAS) regiment.

In 1989, the British role in Cambodia was revealed.

In the Sunday Telegraph, Simon O'Dwyer-Russell, revealed that the SAS was training the Pol Pot-led force.

Jane's Defence Weekly reported that the British training for the members of the 'coalition' had been going on "at secret bases in Thailand for more than four years".

The instructors were from the SAS, "all serving military personnel, all veterans of the Falklands conflict, led by a captain".

The Cambodian training became an exclusively British operation after 1986.

In 1991, John pilger interviewed a member of "R" (reserve) Squadron of the SAS, who had served on the border.

"We trained the KR in a lot of technical stuff - a lot about mines," he said.

"We used mines that came originally from Royal Ordnance in Britain, which we got by way of Egypt with marking changed . . .

"We even gave them psychological training. At first, they wanted to go into the villages and just chop people up. We told them how to go easy . . ."

Thatcher knew.

On 25 June 1991, after two years of denials, the UK government finally admitted that the SAS had been secretly training the "resistance" since 1983.

A report by Asia Watch filled in the detail: the SAS had taught "the use of improvised explosive devices, booby traps and the manufacture and use of time-delay devices".

The author of the report, Rae McGrath (who shared a joint Nobel Peace Prize for the international campaign on landmines), wrote in the Guardian that "the SAS training was a criminally irresponsible and cynical policy".

In 1992, a UN "peacekeeping force" arrived in Cambodia.

The Khmer Rouge was welcomed back to Phnom Penh by UN officials.

Khieu Samphan, Pol Pot's prime minister during the years of genocide, took the salute of UN troops with their commander, the Australian general John Sanderson, at his side.

The result of the UN's involvement was 'the unofficial ceding of at least a quarter of Cambodia to the Khmer Rouge (according to UN military maps).'
