Lonely seal pup - 'outcast from his colony'.On 15th September 2011, the media reported on a Russian seal, discovered by photographer Anatoly Strakhov.
The seal is brown and has very poor eyesight.
Apparently the seal had been abandoned by his mother and was having to fend for himself.
"He was hiding and waiting for his mother to come and feed him."
Strakhov was with staff from a dolphinarium.
They took the pup into their care.
