SAUDI ARABIA AND LINGERIE
Princess Maha al-Sudairi is one of the top members of the Saudi royal family.
Her husband, Prince Nayef, is interior minister and second-in-line to the Saudi throne.
In June 2009, it was revealed that Princess Maha is in trouble and is claiming diplomatic immunity in France.
She is staying in her £2,500-a-night suite at the George V Hotel in Paris.
Her problem is that she has run up unpaid shopping bills of more than £15 million.
This includes £60,000 spent on designer lingerie.
Saudi princess runs up £15 million shopping bill
In 2005, a Saudi Princess was arrested in Massachusetts for enslaving two Indonesian women (as reported at the Saudi Institute).
In 2001, in Florida, Princess Buniah al-Saud, a niece of former King Fahd of Saudi Arabia, was charged with beating her Indonesian servant and pushing her down a flight of stairs.
