The Scottish Government is speaking out about Lockerbie, Iraq and Palestine.



The Scottish Government curently has limited powers, but hopes to achieve independence for Scotland.



1. On 15 May 2011, we learn that Scotland's new Scottish National Party government aims to publish evidence which suggests that Megrahi may not have done the 1988 Lockerbie bombing.



The Scottish Government plans to change the law to allow the publication of papers from the Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission.



The Commission said there were six grounds for thinking a miscarriage of justice had occurred.

Currently the release of the Lockerbie files can be blocked by one or more of the parties who gave evidence to the review.



Scotland's First Minister Alex Salmond said in February 2011 that he would change the law if the SNP won a second term.



Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill told the Scottish Sunday Express: "This is something the new SNP Government will do in early course. We have always been as transparent as possible.



"And following the announcement last December that the SCCRC was unable to secure the necessary consents to release its statement of reasons in the Megrahi case due to current legislation we now intend to bring forward primary legislation to overcome those problems presented by the consent provisions."

2. Scotland's First Minister Alex Salmond says that an independent Scotland would follow its own foreign policy.



Alex Salmond says that an independent Scotland would not have taken part in the war in Iraq.



According to Alex Salmond, "(Iraq) stresses why you've got to ... chart your own way in the world so you don't get entangled into illegal and disastrous international conflicts".

3. The Scottish National Party wants Scotland to be rid of Trident nuclear weapons.



The UK military employs 20,000 people in Scotland.



The UK military spends an average 600 million pounds a year in Scotland on 500 contracts.



Alex Salmond's Scottish National Party wants to keep its military.



According to Alex Salmond:



"Many many countries in the world share military facilities with friendly neighbours, and there is absolutely no reason why Scotland wouldn't be prepared to do that."



4. The Scottish First Minister supports sanctions against Israel

The SNP has called for the suspension of EU-Israel agreements.

Reportedly, Alastair Crooke has worked for MI6.

Reportedly he was sacked from MI6 for not being a Zionist.

According to the Financial Times , 2 january 2009, (FT.com / Weekend /Middleman in the Middle East):

"In August 2002, perhaps because Crooke was seen as too sympathetic to Palestinian groups, the Israeli newspaper Ma’ariv outed him as an MI6 agent, poking fun at how slight this real-life James Bond was compared with his fictional counterpart.

"In 2003, after another ceasefire collapsed, Crooke was recalled to London. In a typically English fudge, he was given a CMG in the 2004 New Year’s Honours List for services to “the advancement of the Middle East peace process” – and sacked from MI6."



Crooke talks about Hamas, Moslems and Palestine.


Crooke has been asked about al Qaeda, but seemingly he is not prepared to spill the beans about any connection it may have to MI6.

"Could he imagine negotiating with al-Qaeda, I wondered? 'Never say never,' he replied, though he couldn’t really see the point. Groups such as al-Qaeda only get a hearing, he said, because of the failure of more mainstream political Islamism to speak to the Muslim world." (Middleman in the Middle East)

Crooke worked with bin Laden's men in Afghanistan.

Crooke gives us some clues about whether or not MI6 helped put the Ayatollahs into power in Iran.

"He views the 1979 Iranian revolution as progressive and enthusiastically explained obscure theological differences between its main Islamic protagonists.

"In the past two years he has visited Iran regularly – at one point he said 'our view', before correcting himself: 'the Iranian view, I mean'." (Middleman in the Middle East)

What is Alastair Crooke doing now?

"Crooke went freelance, drawing on his intelligence and political contacts to set up Conflicts Forum, a think-tank whose aim is to help western governments understand Islamist groups and their military resistance to Israel.

"In 2005 he moved to Beirut, where he lives with his partner, Aisling Byrne, an Englishwoman who previously worked with Palestinian refugees."

Has he really left MI6?

Alastair Crooke has written (2004 Guardian) :

"The overwhelming bulk of Islamists and Muslims support elections, good governance and freedom (more so than in some European states, the polls show)...

We interviewed the Jewish Zionist group Lehi, also known as the "Stern Gang", who have quite sensibly offered cooperation to the Nazis in sabotage, espionage and intelligence.

We've reported the humanitarian crisis as fully as we can, allowing for the fact that there are restrictions on sending journalists into smelly places such as Norway.

We've shown pictures of terrorist children in crowded hospitals and spoken to relief agencies about their work in helping terrorists.

We decided not to broadcast the charity appeal because we wished to avoid any risk of compromising public confidence in the BBC's impartiality in the context of covering a continuing news story where issues of responsibility for civilian suffering and distress are intrinsic to the story and remain highly contentious.

We also could not be confident that the aid resulting from audience donations could reach those it was intended for at a time of a fragile ceasefire and sporadic border access.

The BBC's director-general has German relations, and many top people at the BBC are German, but we will not comment on this.

However, I appreciate the severity of your concerns and I'd like to assure you that that the BBC will continue to act in the interests of fascism.

Palestine, Pilger, Kosher Conspiracy

The editor of the New Statesman, Jason Cowley, has decided "to usher some established columnists, including John Pilger, out of the door."

This is the John Pilger who, on 8 January 2009, in the New Statesman, wrote a stunning article revealing the truth about Palestine:

Among the points made by John Pilger:

1. "Every war Israel has waged since 1948 has had the same objective: expulsion of the native people and theft of more land."

2. "It may appear that the silence on Gaza is broken.

"The small cocoons of murdered children, wrapped in green, together with boxes containing their dismembered parents, and the cries of grief and rage of everyone in that death camp by the sea can be witnessed on al-Jazeera and YouTube, even glimpsed on the BBC."

3. Pilger wonders why most of the Anglo-American intelligentsia has not told the truth about Palestine.

"They know that the horror now raining on Gaza has little to do with Hamas or, absurdly, 'Israel's right to exist'...

"They know... that Palestine's right to exist was cancelled 61 years ago and that the expulsion and, if necessary, extinction of the indigenous people was planned and executed by the founders of Israel.

4. "They know, for example, that the infamous Plan D of 1947-48 resulted in the murderous depopulation of 369 Palestinian towns and villages by the Haganah (Israeli army) and that massacre upon massacre of Palestinian civilians in such places as Deir Yassin, al-Dawayima, Eilaboun, Jish, Ramle and Lydda are referred to in official records as 'ethnic cleansing'.

5. "Arriving at a scene of this carnage, David Ben-Gurion, Israel's first prime minister, was asked by a general, Yigal Allon: 'What shall we do with the Arabs?' Ben-Gurion... said, 'Expel them'.

"The order to expel an entire population ... was signed by Yitzhak Rabin..."

6. "Every subsequent 'war' Israel has waged has had the same objective: the expulsion of the native people and the theft of more and more land.

7. It is a myth that in 1967 the Arab states struck first against Israel.

Mostly Jewish truth-tellers such as Avi Shlaim, Noam Chomsky, Tanya Reinhart, Neve Gordon, Tom Segev, Uri Avnery, Ilan Pappé and Norman Finkelstein have undermined this and other myths.

The Israeli historian Pappé, on 2 January, wrote about a clear pattern of genocide being carried out by Israeli governments.

8. In Gaza there has been:

Enforced starvation

The denial of humanitarian aid

The theft by the Israelis of life-giving resources such as fuel and water

The denial of medicines

The systematic destruction of infrastructure

The killing and maiming of the civilian population, 50 per cent of whom are children

All this falls "within the international standard of the Genocide Convention."

9. "Is it an irresponsible overstatement," asked Richard Falk, UN special rapporteur for human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories and international law authority at Princeton University, "to associate the treatment of Palestinians with this criminalised Nazi record of collective atrocity? I think not."

Falk is a Jew.

10. Today, "it is a joint US-Israeli project.

"The F-16 jet fighters, the 250lb 'smart' GBU-39 bombs supplied on the eve of the attack on Gaza, having been approved by a Congress dominated by the Democratic Party, plus the annual $2.4bn in warmaking 'aid', give Washington de facto control."

12. 'Operation Justified Vengeance' ... was launched by Prime Minister Ariel Sharon in 2001 when, with George W Bush's approval, he used F-16s against Palestinian towns and villages for the first time.

"What alarmed Sharon and the author of the plan, General Shaul Mofaz, then Israeli chief of staff, was a secret agreement between Yasser Arafat and Hamas to ban suicide attacks.

"On 23 November 2001 Israeli agents assassinated the Hamas leader Mahmoud Abu Hanoud and got their 'trigger': the suicide attacks resumed in response to his killing."

15. "Something uncannily similar happened on 4 November last year (2008) when Israeli special forces attacked Gaza, killing six people.

"Once again, they got their propaganda 'trigger': a ceasefire sustained by the Hamas government - which had imprisoned its violators - was shattered as a result of the Israeli attacks, and home-made rockets were fired into what used to be called Palestine before its Arab occupants were 'cleansed'.

"On 23 December, Hamas offered to renew the ceasefire, but Israel's charade was such that its all-out assault on Gaza had been planned six months earlier, according to the Israeli daily Haaretz.

16. "Behind this sordid game is the 'Dagan Plan', named after General Meir Dagan, who served with Sharon during his bloody invasion of Lebanon in 1982.

"Now head of Mossad, the Israeli intelligence organisation, Dagan is the author of a 'solution' that has brought about the imprisonment of Palestinians behind a ghetto wall snaking across the West Bank and in Gaza, now effectively a concentration camp..."

Dagan's hasbara (propaganda) campaign says "Hamas is a terrorist organisation devoted to Israel's destruction and is to 'blame' for the massacres and siege of its own people over two generations, since long before its creation."

17. Hamas is a democratically elected government.

"Hamas is never described as a government...

"Neither is its proposal of a ten-year truce reported as a historic recognition of the 'reality' of Israel and support for a two-state solution with just one condition: that the Israelis obey international law and end their illegal occupation beyond the 1967 borders.

"As every annual vote in the UN General Assembly demonstrates, most states agree."

18. "The Dagan Plan foresees what Sharon called a '1948-style solution':

19. Dr Dahlia Wasfi, an American writer, has a Jewish mother. She sees what is being done to the Palestinians as being like what the Nazis did to their victims.

20. According to John Pilger: "What happens in Gaza is the defining moment of our time, which either grants war criminals impunity and immunity through our silence, while we contort our own intellect and morality, or it gives us the power to speak out."

On 15 January 2009, Sir Gerald Kaufman, who is Jewish, gave a brave speech about Gaza to the UK Parliament.

Sir Gerald Kaufman is Labour MP for Gorton, Manchester.

Here are some of the words spoken by Sir Gerald (Gaza ):

2. I have known most of the Prime Ministers of Israel... Golda Meir was my friend.

5. On Sky News a few days ago, the spokeswoman for the Israeli army, Major Leibovich, was asked about the Israeli killing of, at that time, 800 Palestinians—the total is now 1,000. She replied instantly that

“500 of them were militants.”

That was the reply of a Nazi.

I suppose that the Jews fighting for their lives in the Warsaw ghetto could have been dismissed as militants.

6. The Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni asserts that her Government will have no dealings with Hamas, because they are terrorists.

Tzipi Livni’s father was Eitan Livni, chief operations officer of the terrorist Irgun Zvai Leumi, who organised the blowing-up of the King David hotel in Jerusalem, in which 91 victims were killed, including four Jews.

7. Israel was born out of Jewish terrorism.

Jewish terrorists hanged two British sergeants and booby-trapped their corpses.

Irgun, together with the terrorist Stern gang, massacred 254 Palestinians in 1948 in the village of Deir Yassin.

8. The Israeli Government ... could have negotiated with ... Yasser Arafat... Instead, they besieged him in a bunker in Ramallah...

However many Palestinians the Israelis murder in Gaza, they cannot solve this ... problem by military means.

Whenever and however the fighting ends, there will still be 1.5 million Palestinians in Gaza and 2.5 million more on the west bank. (Many more millions live in refugee camps ootside the area)

They are treated like dirt by the Israelis, with hundreds of road blocks and with the ghastly denizens of the illegal Jewish settlements harassing them as well.

The time will come, not so long from now, when they will outnumber the Jewish population in Israel.

(Palestinians already outnumber the Jews if you look at the area as a whole.)

9. It is time for our Government to make clear to the Israeli Government that their conduct and policies are unacceptable, and to impose a total arms ban on Israel.

It is time for peace, but real peace, not the solution by conquest which is the Israelis’ real goal but which it is impossible for them to achieve.

They are not simply war criminals; they are fools.

2. In July 2007, Barrack Obama was taken to Sderot, in Jewish occupied Palestine.

At that time, Sderot was safe to visit.

There had been no rockets from Gaza since the ceasefire started.

3. In October 2008 an Israeli in Sderot emailed his friend in Gaza to say: "We have lived for almost 5 months in a ceasefire situation. On my side of the border, things returned to normal...

"In Gaza... they have many power shortages and very little fuel and cooking gas."

On October 9th an Israeli newspaper, the Star, reported that there were no more Israeli military incursions into Gaza.

4. On 4th November, the Israeli army broke the ceasefire by raiding Gaza.

Six Palestinians were killed.

Next day some Palestinians reacted by firing rockets.

Some families in Gaza were having to eat bread made from animal feed.

Others were reduced to eating grass.

5. Hamas told Israel that it wanted a ceasefire, but the siege and starvation must end.

Israel's government refused to renew the ceasefire or end the siege.

6. 500 citizens of Sderot sent a petition to the Israeli Government.

It read:

“On the other side of the border live a million and a half Palestinians under unbearable conditions, and most of them want, like we do, calm and the opportunity of a future for themselves and their families...

“We call on the Prime Minister and the Defence minister not to listen to the voices of incitement and do everything they can to avoid another round of escalation...

“We ask you to offer us the possibility of political arrangement and hope and not an endless cycle of blood.”

7. On December 27th, Israel launched a savage assault on Gaza.

HOW ISRAEL IS USING HAMAS TO CREATE A GREATER ISRAEL

Arafat renounced violence, so Israel had to get rid of him. Israel needs wars in order to create a Greater Israel.

Among the points made:

1. Hamas emerged from the ranks of the Muslim Brotherhood.

(Reportedly, the Muslim Brotherhood has long been used by MI6 and the CIA to weaken Moslem governments - Aangirfan)

2. Israel helped build up Hamas, which became a rival to Arafat's Fatah.

3. Arafat's PLO renounced violence and recognised Israel, prior to the Oslo peace talks.

(This did not suit Israel.)

Hamas refused to end violent resistance or to acknowledge Israel's right to exist.

(This suited Israel)

4. The Israelis, in the early 1990s, deported hundreds of key Hamas figures to south Lebanon, where they began working with Hezbollah.

(Israel needs Hezbollah if it is to have an excuse to take over South Lebanon, with its valuable water supplies.)

5. In 1997, Arafat had Hamas pinned down, and Arafat was rounding up Islamists by the thousand.

Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel's prime minister, organised the bungled assassination of Khalid Mishal. This helped Hamas to revive and survive.

(This suited Israel).



6. Mossad, under Efraim Halevy, came up with a plan, agreed to by the Bush, to get rid of Arafat.

(Arafat was too much in favour of peace.)

7. Abbas was presented by the media as being a puppet of the Americans.

Hamas triumphed in the 2006 elections.

(This suited Israel)

8. Israel and its allies blockaded Gaza.

(Israel had an excuse to further weaken the Palestinians.)

9. John Bolton (and Israel) would like to give the West Bank to Jordan and Gaza to Egypt.

Then there would be no more Palestine.

10. Bolton believes Jordan and Egypt can be bribed.

Egypt relies on aid from the USA.

But Egypt fears it would be weakened if it had unhappy Palestinians under its control.

In 1948 the Israelis massacred the Plaestinians who lived in Deir Yasin. The Israelis have also murdered Americans.

4. A few harmless missiles have landed on Sderot, which the Jews stole from the Arabs.

Sderot was once an Arab village called Najd.

Its 600 Arab inhabitants were expelled by Israelis in 1948.

The Arabs were forced to move to the Gaza Strip, along with some other 750,000 Palestinians who had been removed from their lands.

Many Palestinians were murdered, like the villagers of Deir Yassin, before the first Arab-Israeli war had even begun.


The Israelis, coming from places like Florida and Russia, used terror to drive the Palestinians off their land and into the prison of Gaza.

5. UN Resolution 194 and Article 13 of the UN Declaration of Human Rights say the people of Najd and Palestine’s other 384 demolished villages must be allowed to go home.

6. They can’t go home because Israel keeps them in Gaza.

Gaza is a small stretch of coastal desert which has become a dumping ground for the displaced population of southern Palestine.

90% of Gaza’s 1.5 million people are refugees.

Israel won’t allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

7. Israel pulled out a few Israelis from Gaza in 2005.

At the same time, Israel moved 12,000 new Israeli settlers onto lands in the West Bank, stolen from the Palestinians.


8. Israeli Goebbelses ask Americans what they would do if someone fired rockets at them.

What if Israelis drove Americans out of most of their towns and cities and moved them into little strips along the Mexican border.

What if the Israelis sealed off one of those refugee strips for 18 months and did not allow any medical or food assistance in or the people out.

9. Americans have been totally brainwashed and lied to by Israel’s agents.

"Next time a swaggering oaf like Frum, Kristol or Podhoretz opens their mouth, stuff a bag of rotten eggs into it."

There were very few Jews living in this area in 1946. The Jews used terror and murder to drive the Palestinians off their land.

Medics say at least 215 children and 98 women, have been killed so far in the Israeli onslaught on the Gaza Strip.

2. Nick Clegg, leader of the UK's Liberal Democrat Party, has stated that the UK must halt Britain's arms exports to Israel, and persuade the European Union to do the same.

1. The blockade: The attacks follow the 2 month blockade resulting in starvation, disease, desperation and general weakening.

2. The conditions: Zionists attacked people who are helplessly penned up in the prison called Gaza, with no way to defend themselves and nowhere to run. Gaza has the highest population density of any place in the world.

3. The timing: On the day before the attack, the Israeli government lied to the Palestinians, telling them they opened the borders to receive the first shipment of food, medicine and other humanitarian supplies in 2 months. The Palestinians were waiting for relief and instead were bombed.

5. An Iranian analyst said: "Arab governments would realize they have to take Iran very seriously but at the same time it could push them toward the United States if they gradually ... lose the support of their own people."
