Where did the Mumbai attackers get their cell phones?

"Once the coordinated attacks began, the terrorists were on their cell phones constantly. They used BlackBerries 'to monitor international reaction to the atrocities, and to check on the police response via the internet,' the Courier Mail reported."

In the Mumbai trial of Mr. Kasab, special public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam has told the court that the 'terorists' got their mobile phones from the people they attacked.
