Marketer's Night Out 2011 at the Kilimanjaro Hyatt Regency Hotel a hit

Ms.Natalia Celani of Tanzania Breweries sets the ball rolling by opening up the debate


Dar esSalaam witnessed  another successful event of Marketers Night Out atHyatt Regency Hotel, Kilimanjaro. On thisevent,  age-old adversaries, Heads of Sales and Heads of Marketing, pittedagainst each other to try settle their differences over a Ndovu.  Industryleaders took part in a 'face off debate' discussing  the value eachfunction brings to business, how different corporate interpret this value, andwhy there is constant conflict between what should be two complimentary roles.
The moderatorfor this forum was Allan Sikobe, of Integrated CommunicationsLtd, while the neutral speaker on the debate, who gave closing remarks on theway forward for a harmonious, and fruitful relation between the Two(2) functions was Dr. Wale Akinyemi, Chief Executive OfficerPower Talks Consultants. Ms. Natalia Celani, of Tanzania BreweriesLimited opened the event and gave a brief preamble.
